One or two things modded... Check out the build thread
I would think that would give a very odd rebound feeling?? maybe? maybe not.

at any rate I have to get my bumpah first then see about purchasing the welder finally and THEN I can start looking in to the fab stuff.

Inboard them and be done with it. Shackle flip will have more handling change than shock location.

Truck looks great and very thorough build/bought thread.

I'll be doing my exhaust dump in the same spot next week, did you notice a noise change from cutting that extra couple feet off?

I didn't notice in the 120+ pages if you had a cover for your ARB fridge, if not I would highly recommend one. Keeps the temperature a bit more steady and protects it.

Thank you for your service! Cheers!

I would cut yours after the spare to keep the heat off it when you cut. No changes to sound overall but it is now pointed downish so when you go over an open grate deck style bridge it sounds like the truck stalled.

    Cover: Check!

I got out in 2007. Two tours to Iraq. I started out as an AAV mechanic in garrison ended up with a field MP unit and EOD while deployed.

I took my spare off and tossed it so just a lot of empty space down there now. Considering doing a larger fuel tank in its place.

Got to ride in a gator once...F That noise. All them eductors running to keep that shit floating was so weird.

So what are you doing for a spare then?

It's the creepiest feeling when they splash in the ocean and sink before going afloat but yes so freaking loud!

Whenever I'm on any kind of a road trip, adventure etc I always have my trailer with me which has a full-size spare. I didn't want the added weight of carrying a 35" tire around town everyday. I considered doing a swing out but it would have limited my movement with the trailer offroad.

It's not that much more weight. Makes my leafs soft and comfy.

Not a ton of weight for sure but I also wasn't a fan of the tire blocking so much of the view again just for a daily driver.

Excited to see what you do with the trailer! I have been up late the last 3 nights doing electrical on mine and adding a few more things. I need to snap some photos and update my thread this weekend. Hoping to start tackling the Truma forced air heater next week. Its going to be quite the chore with running the outlets and cutting a bunch of holes in my trailer sides — not looking forward to it.

I hear the DD part. I'm doing 15k+ a year... I relocated the camera to the swingout and it works like a champ!
