You could always keep the stock unit to slip back in if necessary. I wouldn't worry about the warranty anyway. They will fight to the end to get out of paying for something.

It is a worthwhile upgrade in my opinion! Much cheaper than it would be from the stealership as well!

Changing a head unit will not void a warranty. Service guys won't notice or care. Only issue is if the Navunit fails it is not covered since it was not factory installed. All of us here that received our Nav from FLTrucks are in the same boat.
At the price we all paid it was a risk worth taking.
Get it now because with the 2016's coming his source might dry up.

Is there anyone that could answer my compatibility questions via PM? I don't want to busy this thread, and seems like information I've come across hasn't provided enough certainty to commit to this purchase...

I received my unit this past Saturday. Spent my Sunday evening installing the new unit and detailing the truck finally no more stinking rain. Install was plug and play and took maybe 30 minutes to complete. My unit (510074) had a December manufacture date and came packaged extremely well. Came with all the brackets, bezel, radio, screws and GPS antennae. Which I didn't use cause I have the shark fin. Everything works flawlessly and as expected. Can't thank Fltrucks enough for providing this awesome service and deal to the community.

Yea, mines a 15' that had the plus with shark fin. My Xm antennae plug was black and plugs into the Xm module. The GPS plug is white and plugs into the back of the radio it's self. Didn't need to use the supplied GPS antennae he shipped with the unit.

I seen on Toyota in Pinellas website they sell the gps antennae for $280.
Guess thats another reason why its called the stealership.

I understand what it means when the road on the nav screen is colored. Green = no traffic, yellow = slightly congested, red = stopped. Does anyone know what it means when it shows up in blue?

    Flooded?

But seriously I think it just means no traffic info for that road perhaps. Will check it out on mine today when I'm out.

Sometimes there's no colored line shown, which I would assume, means there's no info available. I've only seen the blue line the past two mornings on my way to work. Maybe ice or slippery conditions were reported...? I think I should have seen that at some point throughout the winter though.

I don't have one of these HUs (but thinking about getting one), but it uses Garmin GPS and on most Garmin standalone units (like the nuvi), the blue line indicates a route you've traveled before. The blue line doesn't stay there forever, like maybe only a few days. Might it be the same for the GPS in the HU?
