make sure whatever you're spraying that rattle bed liner on you clean and scuff it really good. it tends to flake off after a while if not.

Also I hate to say this but K&N is probably the worst type of aftermarket filter you can run on our trucks if it ever sees dirt, swap the cone filter for a non oiled AEM brute force with a water sock if anything please, your MAF sensor and throttle body butterfly will thank you. :)

Started the shower install... Mounted heat plate. There were two unused factory tapped holes there, so I just drilled a hole in bracket, and used a few extra bolts I had that fit:

Haha yeah, it's been through a few mud pits and dirt trails. Remember the first time you saw under my truck? You said something like 'do you even wheel this bro?'

Every time I pop my K&N in my check engine light comes on. I think the oil from the filter blows onto the MAF sensor. I don't know if that means it's a bad filter but it is a bit obnoxious.

Soooooo where did you find TRD calipers? I haven't been able to find any TRD brake stuff for the first gen in several years and just now I couldn't even find the Tundra kit on the TRD website.

Why not buy the prepackaged LCE Tundra Brake upgrade kit, everything is included.

Well, that's the route I am taking, I am not hunting all over for everything.

The kit is $575, you're saying you can do it for $125?

Well I was looking at that and then i got stingy and thought I could build it myself for less. Then I found this:

    http://www.ebay.com/itm/391086807160?_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT

and thought for about the same money as the LCE kit I could get powder coated calipers, braided SS lines from wheelers, greenstuff pads and GD rotors.

So that's where I am right now.

    Haha, for real!

I'm slowly rebuilding junk-yard calipers, grabbing new rotors/pads, and already got stainless lines from the ongoing GB..

Should get it all done for $3-350
