Norcal Spotted and BS Thread

I started the year owning a home. Home means mortgage interest write off. I sold the house at the begining of the year and never changed my filing status.... Its cool. Just means I got more of my money upfront. Not a big deal.

 

this. Althought i do like having and treating the return as a "bonus" at years end. So i make sure i overpay a little so allow for that. Usually pays for a vacation or two. Also doesnt hear having a mom as a CPA so she tells me what i need to do.

 

Ahh see I'm hourly and get OT every week that's pretty random, so that would be quite a bit of work trying to figure out everything I think lol

 

Correct me if I am wrong but didn't I hear somewhere if you have cover California health you actually have to guesstimate you income and if your wrong it's a big ass penalty

 

Yeah, you need a 1095 form if you have covered ca. It verifies your income with what you said. Reported to little = pay big.

Well guys I got my dual compressor today and its a bit bigger than I had originally thought.. Won't fit anywhere in the engine bay without moving something.. Anyone have an idea where? I haven't looked under the cab part yet, only part is drilling into one of the cubby things in the bed and mounting it to the underside. Also don't want it behind my rear seat since it'll be harder to wire and I don't want to lean the seat forward each time to air up.

 

I plan on the cubby route.

 

I am probably going to do that tomorrow but its pretty heavy, just hope the plastic is strong enough to hold it on the trail and hwy

 

I am going to build a replacement cubby that's large enough and strong enough-and that will keep the compressor dry. The only other option is a bracket in the engine compartment that mounts it in an almost downward position. i like the cubby spot better.

 

I know MrGrimm and I think a few others have mounted that twin compressor behind the back seats.
All I could find for MrGrimm's setup is here, and it looks like he might've taken all that cubby stuff out, but you could probably figure something out.

I have my single compressor mounted in the back seat and you notice it when it starts, but you're offroading, it comes with the package if you ask me.

 

I thought about it there but thats kinda a pain to run the wires and plumb it unless I want to lean the seat forward each time.

That's why you do it once and do it right and then never have to worry about it again . If you're talking about for filling up...you could always run a hose through the back wall into the bed and just have a nipple in the bed to hook up your hose to when you want to fill tires
