Appreciate it, ill try that. Seems like a freak thing at this point. This is a brand new bolt straight from total chaos, Im going to double nut it and lock tight and see if it spins loose.

Maybe its time to upgrade to that dtf kit :D(my logic lol)

Long shot but maybe the uniball is slightly seized up and is just loosening the bolt when you turn.
    Pretty unlikely though

Ok so I seem to be having issues with my carrier bearing. I am about to have to replace it for the second time in a few months. What are you guys doing to strengthen the bracket? Mine is bent diagonally like the rear end is bringing it down and during moderate acceleration it makes a crazy grinding sound. It started as a knocking sound but has progressively gotten worse as of recently. If I accelerate very lightly there is no noise. When I replaced it the first time it was making a crazy squealing noise. I want to stop the issue before I have to replace it again. If possible..

build a new beefy mount for the cb, go to a urethane or solid cb, and make sure you have a slip yoke and the correct pinion angle. also check your u joints for play

We're running a CB off a fullsize Chevy that's MUCH bigger on Jprich's truck and I plated/reinforced the mounts that hang down off the crossmember as well. So far so good with no issues. It's on my prep list though this time around.

Made the long trip home from Vegas to London and trying to get caught back up at work. Sad to leave the sun behind for the cloudy skies here in the UK. Had a blast in Vegas though and glad I got to catch up with some folks and finally meet some people in person.

Week went by fast but we couldn't have asked for more. Everything went as well as it possibly could have and we're really excited to be able to share some cool stuff when it becomes available.

Naughty to "cross post" I guess but I'm too lazy to rewrite so here is the link to the post race write up I did for anyone who's interested. Hoping to be able to make it back out for V2R in August!

I'm like 95% sure that won't work. If you find a housing in Phoenix though, I can probably deliver :D

    I have a 4th gen 4runner e-locker in a 3rd gen pickup housing. So I would assume it would work. It's just an 8"
