    Long story short. I caught a kid taking a shit under my tree stand on public land. I hadn't yet made it up to the stand but I was about 25 yrds or so away watching a buck a few yrs ago. Snuck up on him from the other side of the tree and boot kicked him in the back. He said "It just looked like a good quiet place to take a dump. Whatever.
    I won't hunt on public land ever.

    so went to dealership today.. wanted to physically touch a skid plate.. and found out that the "steel skid plate" that comes standard.. well that's not a skid plate at all.. it is the engine cover.. its not meant to be used as a skid plate.. says "engine cover" in the parts computer as well as their tech manual. who knew?! and if you have a skid plate the steel engine cover stays on as well.. it has something to do with heat transferring ( didn't get technical with it) anyway.. thought I would share knowledge that I learned today...

    well, they have the OEM wheels on it now and they look so small on the little street tires that are on it. But, honestly I would be open to some Tacoma rims if they were on some good tires.

    The lights are pretty good. I got them cheap off of WOOT.com last year

    Yeah, I was just curious about HID off road lights. I've always bought Halogens but the bulbs don't last long and 130wt bulbs are kind of high. LED's are out for me, way too expensive.
