    Finally got the Damage Industries Enhanced chrome silicon buffer spring.

    SO much smoother than factory milspec. I highly doubt that it is any quieter though....

    Ha! that was my least concern. Tis very smooth though.

    As it stands, probably wasn't worth it, but the simple idea that it is supposed to last many times longer than a standard milspec makes me not feel like it was a waste of my time and $11

    Finally able to get into the local range today (to much snow before). Still working with the new 6.5 Grendel. Looking like it will be getting a new scope, 9x Mark AR not going to work at 300+ yards. All in all had some good groups and felt good to do some shooting.

    Got my 6.5 Grendel upper put together (for the most part). I'm still needing a bolt carrier, firing pin, and gas system, but I've got it together enough to be able to see what it's going to look like.

    It's got an 18" stainless Satern barrel a gibbz G4 side charging upper, and a 15" Diamondhead rail

    Very close enough! PWS is one of my top companies and are great folks that build precision parts and guns. I just talked to them today about a .300 that I am looking to complete and own a couple of their piston driven MK1's.

    I'm kinda hooked on 'em now. I plan on slowly but surely replacing all our DI rifles with PWS piston guns. Half tempted to just go with all 308s. Recoil feels less than our 5.56 DI rifles, & find plenty of brass 7.62x51 for .50/rd here
