Are you expecting this skid to get any impacts? Worried about having the compressor and the pump hard mounted to something that might transmit large amounts of shock if impacted?

LOTS of wiring, dual battery setup, Solar charging system, with some random lights spread around here and there.
I don't know. It is kind of high up in the frame. But still even everything being hard mounted I rather it be able to take a large impact without receiving any damage to the components that are mounted.I do not really expect it to take any kind of hits but I have drug the bumper on quite a few occasions.

Should be mounting the skid and all attached components on Sunday if all goes well. Still need to drill the holes for the Rivnuts.

Should be ready to mount everything to the skid today or tomorrow. What color do you guys think? Ashley wants pink but I also have some red laying around too?

I have been picturing the ramp on your skid being at the front until now. Now that I realize it is at the back, I think you might want some drain holes in it. In a way, you've built a shovel.

I think a drain hole at each of the rear corners (base of ramp and joint with your side walls) would help with cleaning & draining.

Maybe its not a concern, but I am picturing this skid filling with dirt/sand, and then if you try to wash it out you would only be able to if you parked on a downhill slope.

at that point, with all the goodies bolted to it, i think just dropping it would be easier to clean.
