I ordered an axle a while back for y boat trailer and they were great.
As soon as these cornholes stop finding trailers I will let the thought dissolve of finding and building one myself.

 

Bought today and install tomorrow.

I thought hub assemblies were hundreds of dollars?

 

Hmmm, not sure i'll check tomorrow and see how the fit is.

 

Hub assemblies for the trucks are (unit bearings) but not for trailer axles. They do get more expensive depending on setup, brakes or independent trailing arm set ups.

 

Just finished my first oil change. Man are these trucks easy to work on.

 

Clutch kit replaced at 177K miles. Old one was getting pretty thin.



They said the flywheel was fine. I've always at least had it surfaced on any that I've changed (mostly Jeep Wranglers and CJ's). Any experience out there on that topic?

 

Clutch doesn't look too bad at 177K. Good work.

My girlfriend has a TJ. When we replaced her clutch, I went ahead and bought a new one. It was only $40 and I figure why the hell not. I do not want to have any issues later. But I think the jeep's clutch is different from tacos in that some of them can't be resurfaced. Although, I could be wrong about the resurfacing part.

 

On a 2015? No complimentary factory service included?

 

You are correct about Wranglers - they have a slight "dome shape" to them, so you're not supposed to have them turned.

 

I have never seen a "Dome Shaped " flywheel. It makes no sense.

 

I had my flywheel resurfaced. New pressure plate as well.
