Have you had any problems with the beads on your Hankooks leaking? What is the lowest pressure you run them at? Mine have been less than stellar in that regard. Granted thats on a Grand Cherokee so maybe its just a jeep thing.

could be, could also be a poor job cleaning the rims up when they were mounted. Just trying to determine if its a tire thing or not before I pick up a set for my Tacoma.

FWIW, Mines have been fine at 15psi, haven't had any issues. But not sure how low you're going on them. They were mounted on new wheels.

I've been down to 9 psi on mine with no leaks. Even blew a bead once. Jacked it up, cleaned it off with every last drop of piss I had in me and reseated it with CO2 and still never an issue.

Probably just someone did a poor job mounting them initially. I blew a bead with them also, luckily didn't have to use piss to clean the bead. Ive run alot of tires over the years and never had as many problems with leaks as with the Hankooks. On the other hand I would consider them them the best bang for buck on performance.

I've had the opposite experience. I've been harder on these tires than I have with any others and had less problems. Yeah I've sliced a sidewall and ballooned another, but both of those were...intense (albeit gratifying) situations.
You sure it's not something stupid like leaky valve cores? I got a handful for free just by asking my local discount tire.

Unfortunately it is the bead. The leaks are big enough to flatten the tire in minutes. Discount mounted them originally and so far no leaks on the two we remounted with tire goop. I have my third one I need to fix now.

Could also be the result of a V8, low tire pressure, and heavy right foot. I usually run between 12 to 8 psi. Its just a new problem for me so I figured I would bring it up and see if you had experienced the same thing before I picked up my next set.

As long as the beads set it shouldn't leak. Somethinds up. At work I see this often and usually its a combo of the wheel is pitted/corroded around the bead area and a tire that is dirty or cut on the bead. Another thing that can happen is the installer can kink or tear the bead when installing.

Mini-mod. Picked up a camera for the front of the truck to help with crawling. Flush mounted it to the top skid plate and ran it to my head unit. It points at the ground perfectly as I approach obstacles.

I'm not worried about it. It's aimed down and literally the size of a dime. If it cracks or breaks...another $18 isn't going to send me to the poor house.

I can hook up a total of 3 video feeds to my head unit. One I use for my iphone (audio and video). It has a second audio/video feed that's unused. And it has a backup camera feed that I can flip on anytime by pushing a button on the HU as long as the camera is powered. I powered the camera when the ignition turns on so I can use it as long as the key is in the on position. I chose to use the backup camera feed because it doesn't turn off the audio of whatever I'm listening to. If I use the A/V feeds...I got no tunes...and we can't have that.
