Looks like he had pin 3 hooked up but running to the wrong relay terminal... We was missing a fused power source to pin 2 on the switch though

What do you have the hooked up to pin 2 of your switch (from where?) and are you trying this with your truck started?

It is possible you may have messed up the relay from having it hooked up incorrect earlier

I tapped into my fuse panel in the cab. I tapped it into the Guage fuse cause it had power when it was on but not when the ignition was off

Ok so I assume you are tring the light when the truck is started?

Do you have either a multimeter or a 12v test light? This should be easy to figure out where the problem is

No power in the switch whatsoever. Where it's tapped into the fuse box the fuses have power but the wire does not

#2 is YOUR POWER source--nothing is connected to it. looks like you have it connected to the "light switch" lead

Check for power at point 2 on your switch then also point 3 (with the switch on). Both checks done with the truck started

Oops missed where u said no power to switch... Ok well there should at the very minimum be power to point 2 on your switch... If you are using a add a fuse / fuse tap make sure your fuse is properly seated and not blown.

Yeah check pin 2 on switch, if not, pick another fuse to tap in. I have a perfect spot, let me take a picture.

How did you connect the wires to the female spades? I see you used blue terminals on on the switch which should be used on 16-14 awg but you are using 10awg wire. How confident are you with all of your crimps? Or if you didn't crimp then how have you connected the wires?

With a couple of members helping ya, we will get this! This is where I tapped into. Works perfectly fine for me. Also like Up2nogood mentioned, make sure all of your crimps, connections, etc is good and solid
