Sweet Fiesta! I'm a muscle car fan but I do like the newer crop of smaller, lighter, faster cars. We just picked up a GLA250 and I forgot how much fun it is to throw these cars around and getting about 27mpg as well. Stage 3 right off the bat - in with a 'bang', not a whimper. :D

Welcome! Although I should say the same for myself as I've been AWOL from TW for a while. I don't know if there's been many meet/greet/mod days recently but let's see what the interest level is...

Congrats on your first Taco. Whereabouts do you live?

Mine has already been going. New front suspension. New lights. Buying a house in Renton at Lake Youngs. 3 car garage, so I'll have room for lots of mod days.

    Thanks!

I'm in south King county, but I'm all over the place. I get bored easy and have an awesome work schedule, so I'm always out finding new areas to explore!

lol. After the big August TW trip, I was super busy and out of town every weekend. Then folks started getting laid off at work all over the place so I've been scrambling with job-related stuff and working on some certifications. I'm still working the same job but it's been hectic.

I looked at my truck a couple weeks ago, it still has the same M/T tires from the August trip and it has not been washed for months. Somehow I lost my way, coming back to the church of TW to regain my faith.

Reminds me, I have to check the SODO lunch thread as well!

That's awesome. You'll be fairly close by. I'll have to catch up with you soon. Do folks have any mod days or wheeling excursions currently planned? It didn't sound like it...

Nothing as of right now. I still have some shitty radials until I close on the house. But I think I might go do an overnight trip or two this summer.

Hey - super congratulations on the new opportunity in Cali, BTW
OK, I have a certification exam this coming Saturday afternoon so I'm heads-down studying until then. I am up for wheeling on Sunday or modding if anybody is interested. I'll keep my eyes open to see what you end up doing.

Anyone know if the newer model 2nd gen center dash piece will fit my '08? The ones with the extra switch panel below the heater controls. I need to add a few more switches I bought from on board air, and don't have the space.
Forgive my ignorance please, I'm sure my answer is on here somewhere, but searching with my phone sucks! Lol

I'll PM him. Seems that the GB is over and he doesn't list one for the 6-speed console on his site. Also, will this panel work with the OEM switches or only others?

It should work with ottraw. But I think it might fit offers. He has one at the end for the 6spd now. You just need to tell him what type you have. Near the end he has pictures of 2 types of manual consoles

    Ok, I'll look again.
If it works with the OEM switches, I'll get one. They look great, but my ocd won't allow for two style switches in the truck. I'd have to replace all the factory ones with ottraw units too.
