Why not just spend the extra 150 the first time for uniball uppers. And not worry about ball joints

The cheapest ive seen the TC uppers was around $600 which is quite a bit more expensive but if I find a good deal on a set I will absolutely jump on it over the light racing ones

Curious to see how that works out.

Me, Old Brett, Young Brett and Old Brett's friend couldn't get the rubber line off to save our lives. I still have Wheelers brake lines in my garage.

I fought those brake lines too. In the end I won. I was able to use pb blaster and some freeze stuff to get one side off with ease. The other side... well, I had to remove the short steel line that the rubber connects to. I went to the local parts store and bought a $3 steel line and bent it to match the line I took out. The steel line that the rubber connects to is really short and goes to a mounted 90 degree fitting, that one was much easier to disconnect.

Maybe we were going at it all wrong. After all it was at the end of a day where we installed my lift, extended rear brake line, etc.

But we were trying to remove the c-clip in order to get the rubber line off. Couldn't even get that thing off. So we threw in the towel.

Because not everyone wants uni-balls. If you live in a dry climate where they don't salt the roads in the winters then uni-balls will probably be better. But I've found that the uni-balls just don't hold up as well around here in Utah in the winters and require being rebuilt or replaced frequently. Not worth the hassle or the extra expense. And uniballs are much noisier.

I've got LR arms and so far no issues to speak of. I got mine used from ponethousand but they are the new style. There was a change to the sleeved bushings on the new ones that was the primary change.

As far as I know it's for the seat belt light in the dash.
