I only see the manual shift console ones listed on the GB page links to that thread, but because it's closed, I cannot add one to the cart. I don't see it listed on the main site. I'll have to PM him.

Some flags and center console divider... lots of things on the wanted list.
Yeah, only one. I just read through it again and it looks like the second setup was for 4cyls.

Hello fellow tacoma owners! first post on this wonderful forum, already it has been a great source of information!

New Tacoma Owner here, and here's the not so brief story of how i came to obtain it. If you're otherwise not interested, please fast forward towards the end of the post. My former vehicle was a Jeep GC 2001 which i had heavily modified to climb anything you put in front of it. Towards the end it was having a high idle issue and i just didn't have the time to fix it anymore. so one day, dad and i hoped in the jeep and went tacoma surfing. Had 3 dealerships in mind to stop by, but before we got to the dealerships in Auburn/Puyallup, We came across Toyota of Auburn. Stopped in to have a look at their used inventory. My "must haves" for my new tacoma were the following, must have 4x4, Rear Diff lock, Hill Decent control, traction control, double cab, short 4ft bed, JBL sound, low-ish miles, right cost... etc. And wouldn't you know it, TOA had a 2nd gen 2008 silver double door, short bed, and all the options i wanted. Price was a bit steep, but the dealer let us go look at the other dealerships in the area. after those came out as a bust because they weren't willing to give me anything for my jeep, i came back to TOA and sat down and talked turkey. They started at $3500, i started at $10k. By the time i left, they were at 5500, and i was at 6500. they pulled me aside as i was walking out and offered me 6000, but i said nope. So i went home to sleep on it, and called them back the next morning. And offered them 7000, and i would come all the way back down from seattle to buy it today if they took 7000. They said yes! so i was very happy. I asked if there was a few things i could pull off while not going crazy, since they said that the items probably didn't have any resell value. I pulled off a 40" Rigid industries LED lightbar, my highlift jack and i was gonna pull my aftermarket car stereo, as i still had the stock one in storage. Had called insurance and got new cards, gotten the title from the bank, and the stereo from storage and was on the way to car toys to do a quick stereo swap when i get a call from my dealer saying that he had been told by one of his associates that there was someone coming down that minute to BUY the truck from seattle. I'm freaking out because i'm in Bothell, and thinking this other guy is gonna get the truck from me, i'm thrashing my jeep down to TOA. stressed out driving, braking hard, which in a 2 ton jeep is not easy to do. I pulled into the Lot, and my brakes were not only hot, they were smoking. So i'm praying nobody notices and confronts me about it. Off i go into the dealership, and the toyota is still there. I sign the paperwork, get the keys and drive home in my new 2008 Tacoma, with 27,000mi on it. I KNOW! uber low miles!!! so lucky!!!

Anyway. the dealership had put brand new Yokohoma Geolander HT/S tires on it, and i'm just not pleased with them. my jeep had the BFGoodrich AT KO tires on it, and they've never let me down, so i'm hoping the dealer will let me bring them back and give me credit to go after the BFG AT KO2s that i've spotted and look awesome!

SO! I'm a national truck driver, and i don't get into town very often. I live in the North Seattle area. When i do, i try to get together with some friends and go find some trails up around snoqualmie pass. maybe a place to shoot some guns off as well. we like to do that sort of thing. Would love to hear from some of you guys, maybe meet up sometime, make a trip, or eat some food. Do you guys plan any get togethers? like at a park or something?

Thanks in advance for the warm welcomes. Signatures and avatars to come when i have the time... :)
    Peace out!
    -C

Hope you get credit for your tires! I had those tires when I bought my truck from my uncle and they did well but I sold them pretty quick..

We do sometimes meet up for lunch but mainly we go out on trails.

And yes Will Dakota and I are going to have the best travel possible (besides LT) :D

Actually I *am* going LT so hah I win :p in the mean time though you guys still got me beat with my crappy preload stiffness coil combo. Btw speaking of that. Once I took my skid plates off today my bro lean was crazy!! That makes me think the new bumper and winch will sag it quite a bit...

Nope. Everything is taken out. Skids, drivelines, crossmember, slave cylinder, electrical disconnected. All bolts out and the only thing holding up the tranny is a jack and the little guide dowels. I'm having Jake stop by after work tomorrow, I want a second set of hands to balance this thing when I Lower it...

I'm pretty sure that's what the dealer paid him for his JGC. Which is a miracle in its own.

Hey guys, I have a quick question. After I swapped out my gears, I noticed my truck feels like it's bouncing a little bit while driving down the road. Any recommendations?

I have a friend that did uwharrie in a stock sr5 with no skids, lockers or sliders, just a front bumper so you'll be good!

I'll miss the NW a lot when I move but thankfully ill be coming back. My kings are AMAZING. Honestly didn't think they would make such a difference. I will say that I feel more of the small bumps on road but they soak up everything off road. They definitely aren't something you need for sure but I have noticed a big improvement.
