Yes. Lowes here in Pensacola did not sell plastic, empty paint cans, only metel ones. So I bought two gallons of paint off the bad mix table for $5.00 each, and two metal cans, then transfered the paint. Took my Dremel and cut the bottoms out, measured the thickness of the lights and cut out "bands". Those are what I used for the housings.:)

Dang, I was pretty happy today. Did a 500+ mile trip and got 19.7 MPGs with my Reg Cab 4x4 auto with 285s. Ran about 77MPH most of the way. This is the first time I've had the opportunity to check it on the road. I'm pleased with those numbers.

    Lol, just make your own.

:woot:. Glad you are back to 4.88's and not that gay 4.56 BS

Nice! I averaged 18 mpg on my trip this last weekend. Speeds where 75 minus a few beastly hills that I took at 65.

The 4 cylinder is rather impressive. I just keep throwing weight at it and the MPG's just seem to stick around the same.

Lately I've been really considering selling my truck and buying a side by side and a truck that could tow it. Up here in Alaska I'm really limited on what trails I can run on without some extensive modification with the side by side I can go some many places and not really have to worry about destroying my daily driver. Anyways what do you guys think I could trade my tacoma in for Its got 89000 miles and bumpers front and rear and sliders no other mods I'm thinking it's worth about 10000 but I really don't know what kind of value these trucks retain

has anyone else's mighty NVH generator - aka the "22"TR-FE caused any fun rattles/vibrations?

maybe it's just a 2013+ thing because of that big touch screen.

Something in my dash vibrates/rattles too. Started when I got my E rated 285s. Was probably asking for it.

If the bands are not even, front to back, you can use a sander to even them out and then high grit to smooth them out. Left to right is a different story. Take your time to measure, the more grill you cut out, the more space you have to fill in. Make sense?

Lol, school is a mile away and when it's warm I just ride my bike. The grocery store is 2 blocks away. The majority of those miles are racked up on dirt roads or on the way to the dirt. I think that's a pretty good life :p.
