I like it. Did you get the Harman Kardon audio package? What's your next mod? Have you started a build page (lol on TW)? There is a section for that.

Nah, I paid for the JBL upgrade in the Tacoma and kind of regretted it so I skipped out on it on the Subaru. Although the keyless access and start would've been nice, i'll turn my own key and save $2500.

No real mods planned yet. At most I'll do an intake and a cobb stage 1 tune at some point in the future. Not going to do anything crazy with it.

I got them to take $1,000 of MSRP. Sticker was $36.3k, paid $35.3k. After taxes and equity I financed $29.5k. Not too bad. I've read of people getting them for at or near invoice but that's pretty rare I think, these cars sell quickly.

Love the STI, had an 05. I always like to keep one Subaru in the familiy, so we ended up with a 2014 Outback for the wife, we just needed the space more than the HP this time

My kids are getting older so I don't really need the space, wife drives a CX-7 if we need room anyway. Definitely loving the STI still. No regrets stepping away from the Tacoma.

I love my 2015. I had the Torklift Ecohitch installed at the Subie dealership. I use it for the deer hauler and get some strange looks. I miss my truck some days but it's fun being able to buzz around in the snow with AWD.

Congrats. The hitch, did they have to remove the bumper to install it? I mountain bike and would need to put a bike carrier in the rear instead of the roof. Like this one. I'm on the verge of getting one. Is yours a limited or Premium? If you don't mind, how much of a discount did you get? Did they have to cut the bottom of your bumper to slide the safety pin inside through the holes?

I did it. This past weekend I became an owner of my first Subaru. Hopefully I won't find myself wanting the 3rd Gen Tacoma when that comes out. Haha.
    Here's a pic.

^^ nice! I'm sure you will get some BS for putting an STI wing on an WRX but who cares!

I'm sure I would, but I at least debadged the STI from the trunk lid out of respect. Besides new shoes and the LED turn signals on the mirrors, I've got nothing else that I need to do right away. Gonna take this one slow since its pretty much done already.

That's cool at least you found someone who was willing to swap trunks (easier that way). Did you do anything to the engine & suspension?

I had an MY05 10 years ago and put all money into engine and suspension only...

No. I haven't touched the engine and suspension. I would like to lower it about an inch but that won't happen until I get the new shoes on it. For now, it sits as is. I do need to buy a roof rack for it though.
It's crazy but I've already seen a product called Hidden Hitch which is nice and even other WRX owners who are drilling into their cars to carry bikes. I'm not that brave. Haha. A roof rack will do as long as I don't enter my garage with a bike on the roof. I've done that before like 15 years ago.

I think most WRX/STi owners are pretty lenient on that. You see it quite often. Trunk swapping between WRX and STi owners is pretty common.

I don't think anyone would want to swap trunks with me now! lol

haha, and I wish.....they're fixing it unfortunately. Initial estimate is $11,000 in damage. Basically a whole new trunk and few other odds and ends. No damage that is considered critical. I was shocked. I still plan on unloading it once it's fixed though, don't want to keep a car with this in its history. I walked away with a very slight stiff neck and a bruise on my knee is all.
