Nice. I still prefer my no slider Titleist though. They made me a believer and probably lifetime customer last year.

I'm a firm believer in newer technology helping with making the game a little less difficult....I was stuck around 15 as a Handicap, until I found the Taylor Made adjustable equipment years ago, it helped me be more accurate/longer off the tee, hanging around a 9-10HC now...bottom line is you still have to put a good swing on the ball to score..!

Its a stupid, stupid humbling game............mite play 36 tomorrow...;)

I find it easier to adjust myself with a consistent club rather than the other way around. Too each his own. I'm nowhere near a 10 HC right now lol. Though I doubt the slider has anything to do with that .

I switched from 3 generations of Taylor Made (580xd, R5, SuperBurner) to the new Titleist because I was easily out hitting the R-series by 20 yards and, like I said, I find the Titleist consistent and easy to play around with. I can still adjust for draw or slice if I wanted to but I prefer the consistency. I liked the new Ping to but I snapped the demo shaft in front of the course pro on a drive so I wasn't go to buy that shit lol. My buddy shattered a couple of shafts on his Ping too.

Looking into getting a new set of irons this spring. What y'all recommend? Fluctuate between 8 -10 HC. Muscle backs are out of the question. Been hitting Taylor Made all around for the last ten years, not opposed to switching brands.

Nope lol. Just snap and then your left holding a broken stick worth shit. Once you snap a shaft a club is never the same IMHO.

The best answer is to go hit a bunch of different irons on a range and decide for yourself. I'm still hitting an older set of Nike CCI irons because I really haven't found anything else that I like enough to warrant dumping money into them. I hit the Cobra Amp (orange ones) a few times last year when I was away golfing with a friends bag and I really loved them, I'd lean that direction if I needed new irons.

I wish I had a picture but a friend of mine has one of those 2x1 cam am spiders. He straps his at a 90 degree to the rear seat and off he goes. It's not as wide as the wheel base in the front.

As an 8-10 why no MB? Are you using blades or still CB irons? I like my RocketBladez by TM.

To be honest it's just a preference for me, I have always used CBs. Never shot good with blades, played a season with them a couple years back and stunk it up. No interests in them again. I demo'd the equivalent of the rocket blades in CB form. The callaway xr irons are sparking some interest as well as titleist ap1s but there spendy.
