I am about to buy a new set of all weather mats for my 2014 tacoma. I have been leaning towards husky x-act contour because apparently they fit better because of the more flexible and moldable material and the coverage they provide. But at the same time I know tons of people with weathertech who are satisfied. But I don't want to be satisfied. I want to be overly satisfied if I spend 150$ on mats. What's your opinion

I really like my OEM all-weather mats and they hold up really well. But with weathertechs you will get better coverage. I dont step in the mud a lot or go places that are super dirty so I dont need the extra protection but I know a good number of people with weathertechs and they love them. I have no experience with the husky ones or know anyone that has them.

I picked up the weathertech mats off craigslist for $75 that were a month old, they fit perfect, dont move around and are not slippery like some people have said. I would buy them again, nice quality mats.

I prefer Weathertech floor liners for the coverage. Just threw some in my new truck and they fit well and provide excellent coverage.

I have weathertech liners and love them! But it really depends on your budget and if you like weathetech or husky.

Picked up my Husky x-act fit from Amazon for 88 bucks! Had W-techs in a Jeep. Both are nice mats but really like the Husky's, also made in the USA, and Amazon's price.

I loved the Huskys in my old Tacoma, but the Weathertechs just fit so much better. Strong material and well made.

I have the Weathertech's in my Tacoma, and the Husky's in my wife's Venza. The construction of the Weathertech's are way better; thicker rubber, sturdier edges, better fit.

Not exactly an apples to apples comparison, but I doubt they make the Husky's that much different for the Tacoma.

I use to be a weathertech guy then found Husky mats. Better quality compared to the weathertech. Same goes for the mud flaps. The hardware for the Huskys are a lot better designed and thought out compared to the Weathertechs.

I purchased the Husky Xact, and got compliments from the service manager and head tech at Toyota on how great they looked compared to the Weathertech they sell. Same from other Taco owners. I am very happy with the fit and coverage of them.

I just installed front and rear Husky X-act Contours in a brand new 2015 DCSB today.

Can't say enough good things about them. Exactly the right kind of material, a little bit flexible and rubbery. Not the trash can lid kind of hard plastic the Weathertech's and Weather Beaters are made of. Fit is absolutely perfect. The rear tucks under various supports in just the right places for a secure and solid fit. Fronts fit perfectly and use the locking tabs on the floor.

There's been endless Weathertech vs. Weather Beater threads over the years. In my opinion those are all obsolete now, too rigid with resulting fitment issues. The X-act Contour is just the right kind of material.

And I managed to snare the front's for $88 on Amazon. Hurray!

stuff that makes it better for my use...
I have the Huskies in my old Land Cruiser and they drive me nuts they do not fit well and the material they are made out of just doesn't sit well as it should, I ended up going with Weathertechs in both my Tacoma and the wife's 4Runner they fit great.

Just ordered a set of Aries 3D front mats for my 2012 access cab. I'll let everyone know how they are once they're installed. One thing to point out though, they only offered them in AT, MT was not an option. Hopefully the floor pan isn't that different between the two transmissions…. Fingers crossed.

I can't let the wife know
Huskeys , and I love them. Weather tech would not guarantee they will fit my Tacoma due to clutch pedal. Weather tech told me I would have to cut a notch. Huskeys fit perfect and they did guarantee it would fit

Just switched from W/T digital fit to Husky x-act contour. Huskies hand down are better (both fit & coverage). I also like their muflaps versus the W/T, just sayin'.
