What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

I got my rear seat storage platform figured out -





5/8" MDF board cut to fit. I just need to wrap it in carpet once it shows up.

I typically keep all my fly fishing gear in the backseat of my truck and hate the idea of having hundreds of dollars worth of gear just sitting there. I can store all of it under the floor now and still have room for other shit like a jacket or a backpack on top

 

Got new Tires installed on Saturday.



Tonight after work I installed my BAMF LCA skids and greased all 23 zerk fittings

 

Last weekend, put in a console vault. Put on KC driving lights. Washed it.

Ordered Dash Cam and side body moldings.

Oh and found a ding in my tailgate.

I have been daily driving an 04 GTO until now...now the GTO is a weekend toy...my wallet is thin already.

If it wasn't for modifying the GTO, I could have had a decent down payment for this truck a year ago lol.

Used some 3/4 Tall Rubber weatherstipping to fill the grab between the bumper and Body

 

Finally finished and installed my Satoshi!


Also had the windows tinted a few days ago.

 

Installed my new colormatched grill with plasti-dipped emblem and took some pics at the beach.

 

Bought an ARB front bumper, front skid and rear hitch receiver. Now comes the problem of finding the time to install them!

Your Bumper came out great man, looks like it almost came from the factory that way...or at least should have. Lots of attention to detail went into that build +1 for you!

Yeah, bumper looks cool man. Helps hide what I think is a drop bracket behind the skid

 

Yep yep, Gotta hide that DB. Bolting that heavy duty skid to the lower part of the bumper, lower frame and then the DB gave it a bit more support for when ever I do take this thing off road.

They were all ck type. The front ones were too long with the stock headlights (it hit the blinker lense) so until I get my old ones fixed I went back to the regular 3157. The taillight/brake light was amazing. Was super bright and worked for a week then starting blowing fuses. I have no idea why it worked for a week then went to shit.

I have 5 packages of awesome led lights that cannot be used.

 

Ohh. That sucks man. LEDs can be a pita sometimes
