    Had my father in Law over on Sunday - trucks going in this Friday for inspection. He's a trans guy by trade & we were looking over the dual case setup. He seems to think I'd be doing myself a favor to replace the clutch AND the trans before doing the case mod... My truck's got 166K on the clock and I have not really experienced any issues with the trans except a little whining between gears as of late.
    He's going to look and see if he can snag me a low mileage replacement...
    I'm not committed to it but I gotta trust the judgement of a man who's been doing transmission work for 40 years. :eek:
    This is the same man who got me back on the road in time for the October Va. meet with a replacement oil pan & repaired front diff mount. :cool:

    NJ inspection FTMFW emissions only. Mine went through last month with out any issues.

    Homerrrrr that's not what I want to hear :( I got 163k on the clock and I'm about to change my clutch. No real problems with the tranny just sometimes it doesn't go into first without double clutching or shifting to second then back up. :notsure:

    ONE TIME i have been in a truck with water over the hood. Did not enjoy that water crossing.

    Would hate for it to have been mud and to be that off kilt....

    There was some minor pucker... Didn't think there would be that much lean. :eek:

    It was only for about 10 feet though.
