    Current wheels are OEM 17 X 7.5 with 265/65/17
Going to go with MT Classic III 17X9 with 265/70/17

Tire shop told me that there could be vibration with the bigger/wider wheels/tires. Lots of folks upgrading here so I was hoping someone can tell me about their experience upgrading OEM to aftermarket wheel/tires if there was any vibration or noticable ride quality other than noise or rubbing. Have not purchased yet but hope to this week.

Just a bunch of old crap
You should be fine, as long as they balance them properly and you don't have any suspension issues or bad rims. Just put them on and see. You're not going up that much in tire size, so I doubt you'll have issues just from the tires. If you do get vibes from those tires, you probably have something else going on with the truck that needs to be addressed. Depends on how you've used your truck and the wear/tear your suspension already has.

I just upgraded to the same exact setup; I went with Goodyear wrangler duraTrac tires; had to also install pro comp shocks; needed the extra clearance live they way they look

Make sure the replacement wheels are Hubcentric and have the correct offset and center hole.

^^^ take note of this or you'll need to get hub centric rings to take up the slack and avoid vibration. I struggled with this on my '05 after a wheel upgrade to wheels that we're not hub centric.

    Some stuff...
X4, I went ahead and got the adapters for my ProComp 7032 wheels just to be safe even though I didn't have any really bad vibrations.

    Went with the aftermarket wheels:

Mickey Thompson Classic III BLACK 17X9
    Nitto Terra Grappler G2 P265/70R17

No vibration at all at speeds up to 65, at least on the way home. Truck does feel little more sluggish and doesn't handle as well but nothing really significant, I kind of expected this anyway but it's worth it.

A bit more friction, and slightly larger diameter will definitely feel different than stocks. You'll lose a small bit of MPG, too. Maybe 1-1.5MPG depending on your driving habits.
