Also this is my first post and first aftemarket purchase for the new Tacoma Dbl Cab 4wd Trd 6 sp in Black sand pearl i just picked up. I had Okoles in my previous vehicle, 02 Pathfinder ( had a bit of buyers remorse the past few days seeing it go) but it which served me well, time for something new. Anyway, fishing and surfing can take their toll on seats, these covers are a good investment.

Yes, I had an '06 Tacoma that got totaled. I regretted not getting the covers last time and the seats were beginning to smell due to my running habit - despite trying to put down towels. Now I have the same truck in 2010 as of last Friday and won't make the same mistake.

For those who are wondering when the next WO Group Buy will be, I talked to Steve today and he said that it would be at least another six months as they’ll be getting busy pretty soon and will hold off on the group buys for a while. SO SIGN UP!!! =D

I also talked to Steve about the ordering procedures, they are as follows:

Beginning on Monday, October 12th (DO NOT CALL BEFORE THEN) you guys may begin calling in your orders by calling either of the following phone numbers:

Wet Okole will take our orders Monday-Friday from 8AM-4PM PST. THE LAST DAY TO CALL IN YOUR ORDER IS FRIDAY, OCTOBER 23rd at 3:59 PM PST.

When calling, let the sales representative know that you are part of the Tacoma World Group Buy. They will verify that you are part of the group buy by asking for your FULL NAME and USERNAME. You do not have to speak to Steve, you can speak to any sales rep. As mentioned previously, production time is about 2-3 weeks.

When you call you must know
1. Year, Make, Model of your Vehicle

2. The Kind of Rear Seats you have (if this is what your ordering)
-Access Cabs usually have “Folding Seats/Jump Seats”
-Double Cabs Usually Have “40/60 Split Bench Seats”

3. What Kind of Front Seats You Have (If this is what you’re ordering)
- SR5 vehicles usually have “Sport Bucket Seats”
-Standard vehicles usually have “Standard Bucket Seats”
-Know if your vehicle has side airbags on the seats

4. Know the colors you want by name. Color Names are on Wet Okoles website. (Ex: Light Grey, Mocha, Black, Taupe)

5. Know which, if any, extras you’d like such as Custom Logos and their color, Back Pockets, Seat Heaters, etc. For Custom Logos, make sure you know the Graphic Number. The available graphics and their numbers can be found on page 19 of this thread via IrishPilots PDF posts.


**When calling, Wet Okole will have you answer a short questionnaire about your seats to help verify/identify them.

Please let me know of any questions/concerns you guys have. This was a lot of information to post/digest and Im sure I missed something. Ill only know with your questions.

I have a stupid question. I have an 08 sport.... I debadged and do not know or remember if mine is SR5 or not

 

pretty sure all the TRDs are SR5 as well...

 

I copied this off the Toyota Tacoma 4x4 brochure.

Anyone have any good pics of the tan (17) color?

Just so I am not off topic here, have any idea if the console cover works as a universal fit or is it specific to the year Taco you have?

 

LOL. Are your seats made of a mesh looking fabric? Do they stain easily? even when a cold water bottle with condensation on the outside touches the seat which ends up pissing you off and leaves you wondering why your 30k dollar truck stains with condensation? If yes, then you have sport bucket seats my friend.
