Are you going with a single or dual turbo (dual charge ) setup? What type of tuner are you considering?

Good Luck man. I owned a 300ZX NA that I turbo charged and now own a WRX. I envy your journey. Keep us updated!

Single.... Interesting cars you owned... I say that since I owned one of the first 700 WRX's sold in the states, unfortunately I flipped it end over end doing 105+ on Prince William Parkway just before the Occoquan river. Anyway, I went from that to a 240SX, did the full Sileighty conversion with the SR20DET and all that sheeeit... Was using all Apex engine management on that one, what a pain in the ass it was back then with all that JDM shit and trying to translate Japanese to English. I'm thinking Haltech with this one.

WRX Flip, that is impressive. Glad to hear there was no fatual injuries. I can relate to the JDM translation piece. I went through hell fidning a TT motor from japan, then finding an ECU, then the additional laundry list of other things.

Yeah, was alone luckily, racing some other idiot in a turbo Integra... headrest was bent backwards 45 degrees... I spun out trying to swerve around another car, went off road backwards.

I used to have two friends that spoke and read fluent Japanese, that helped... plus Eric Rosen was a good friend of mine at the time, he owned Rosen Auto sport in downtown Richmond, made it easier getting aftermarket parts for SR20

As far as I know it is not... I am allowed to, withot a CCW, carry a pistol in my vehicle in a glove box/center console loaded...

And Ive hunted in VA for a while... Sailors creek to be exact and I was told it is by county... There I was allowed to drive around with the gun loaded and uncased

It was the law for a long time because a kid had a loaded gun go off and I think it killed or injured someone. Pretty sure it is no longer a law but I may be wrong

    Intake, exhaust, lift. Typical stuff.
There is an Autobell on Portsmouth Blvd. Cheap and a good wash inside and out. Recommended.
