I would go for an extended cab, I liked my reg cab but you couldnt recline the seat at all and the bench they (usually) come with SUCK

If you want it to be purely a work truck buy an extended cab 5 lug with the 2.4 engine. They're cheap, indestructible and still get at least 20mpg I believe. I think in my red one with the big tires and stock gearing I was getting 23--26 mpg, the extended cab shouldn't effect that much.

The reg cab might work for you as a work truck but for me getting an extended cab was like the greatest decision ever. Having room to put whatever stuff I've got with me someplace other than the bed is great.

One of my buddies is ~6'2 and with the bucket seat all the way back his knees still touched the glove box

Damn I'm about 6'2" have him sit in your driver seat and see how that is that's all I'll be in and heck if they are the same price might as well get the extnd cab so my tools are safe.

 

I'm just under 6 ft and i was fine in my reg cab, i actually had the seat forward a bit its just the passenger side that's really small because of the globe boxi guess. Talk to Quentin, he's got a (bad ass) reg cab.

Idk if they'll be the exact same price but 5 lug's are pretty cheap regardless

 

I drove his truck once and I fit fine and now that I think about it Q man is just as tall if not taller than me. Plus I'm in his truck all weekend

I'm always the tallest guy with the smallest truck at the meets haha, if i had a bench seat it would suck on long rides for a passanger, i like these bucket seats i got they are comfy to me..

So I'm installing this supercharger and was wondering if someone with a 3.4 s/c could swing by sometime so I can check how they have the vaccum hoses connected so I can get this thing running.
