My set of bolt on with kick out were $165 shipped to a business address. I think the bolt on's are more to ship though

That is awesome John...I gotta put this on the bucket list. Wife is gonna love that shit

same here. I did have a member asking about lifts. I told him to go OME if he can fork out the extra cash. I was a bit strapped when I did my lift so I went with Billy's. Saved me a bit. But honestly, I have no complaints so far......fingers crossed

So an 04 cant use the pre-mixed (50/50) ??? I just did a drain and refill on mine and that's what the dealer sold me??

BAMF if price isn't an issue...those things are beefy. But as someone else mentioned, 4x4 innovations you can angle them however you want. I love my sliders, no issues at all. Guess I haven't beat them up hard enough

So I think I am gonna bite the bullet on a smittybuilt 9.5. Thoughts??

Then I will be selling my steering wheel setup on my civic (nardi steering wheel with NRG hub and lock) to fund my snorkel  I'm excited...haha

Do you have Dakar leafs though? Dakars and 5100's don't pair well with each other and I feel like that's why so many people complain about em. Wrong shock for the application IMO. They are probably fine if you have 0-2"ish of lift but any more than that and you should look into different shocks. Even 2" of lift is cutting it close.

I'm pretty sure Jerry will put sliders at custom angles if you know what you want.

Cheating a little bit since this took place over the span of 2 weeks but:
-Corrected steering slop with tack welds on steering column
-Installed Parrot Asteroid smart head unit
-Removed bed liner, found two massive rot holes
-Patched and welded up bed rust holes
-Patched and welded up rot hole in driver side rocker. The weather stripping was scuffed in one spot and had collected water
-Buttered the frame in fluid film.

OH! And diagnosed the 20mph vibration issue to a carrier bearing holding onto the truck by 1/4" of one bolt. Fixed that.

The way I look at it, billies are the cheapest fastest route to do a proper suspension lift. This is great if you know you want to go to kings/icons etc eventually but can't afford to right now and are limited by your stock height. ie. me lol

Since everyone is on the suspension topic looking into a quality 3" lift and would like to know which one you guys believe to be best bang for your buck. Looking in the 1500 dollar range but the lower the better.

Anybody else just see random threads in random locations? Just saw a thread asking if this panel fits his truck in the GB topic. Does one not read where they post things before posting? :frusty: :crapstorm:

You're a 4x4.. so I wouldnt do more than 2.5 in front and 1.5 in rear.

A quality coilover pays for itself over time with being adjustable in valve and height as well as being totally rebuildable.

if you get stock length you can get away with using stock upper and lower control arms.

As far as rear goes, add a leaf is popular and inexpensive however will cause your rear leaf pack to flatten sooner, so I pre built rear leaf pack is always a better option if funds allow.

You can order rear shocks that are designed for a lift as well.

    All within a $1500-$2000 budget

Just look at the build thread
I'd suggest a full OME kit with Dakars. Think I got mine for around $1100 or so from TRDParts4U but I didn't have to pay for shipping.

I just mean by doing a coilover lift vs spacers.

:crazy:What gets me about 5100's is that the manufacturer says it's normal for them to leak. I call shenanigans personally, but that's just me. Get what you pay for I suppose

It's a pretty well documented issue with them that's not uncommon.
