Very true. They did a good job of it when I was in. You stationed at the JRB?

Yep; there are trails out there of every size, shape, and rock formation. None of them should be underestimated otherwise you will get stuck on a tree/dented fenders/skull raped by squirrels or hillbillies.

    Have fun!

Guess you are missing your ship? How long do you have left on shore duty?

I used Crosslink Powdercoating in Garland for my bumper and wheels. Good work!

Those grey things? I don't party like that. 7 days sea time in 12 years of active duty. I stick to hanging around airplanes. I just got here so 41 months and 1 week.

That's the one. We pretend the Navy doesn't still fly planes from the former NAS Dallas.

You should probably avoid doing that. Lockheed would get pretty pissed if a JSF sucked up a rock.

Haha it is cool watching them fly in and out all day. The jumbo jet with the AWACS on top was sweet yesterday. That, and the F35s are way cool

Anyone interested in some OEM parts? I'm changing out my suspension so my TRD off-road suspension is up for grabs. Also changing out the front bumper, and the wheels and tires. they are the 265/70r17 with the BF Goodrich rugged trail with 80% tread on it. My taco has about 12k miles on it so basically almost new OEM equipment.

    I chuckled at this response.

I get to watch the jets fly around Alliance on a regular basis. Pretty cool to see that much fighter jet activity. They are never close enough for me to identify though...that and I don't know the differences to really look for.

    1 tail = stupid loud F-16
light grey 2 angled tails = awesome F/A-18
    dark grey 2 angled tails = F-35
    2 vertical tails = F-15
