First week with the truck. Purchased bone stock. The project has begun. 33" DuraTracs on 15" Steelies. Flat Black Plasti-Dipped the grill and fron bumper. 3" Lift on order. Lots of work to come.
Bought me a stock 03 DC Taco. Not sure I like the green so Ill begin murdering it and see if it ends up completly Plasti-dipped flat black.

So far I have purchased 33" DuraTracs on 15" Steelies and Blacked out the front grill and bumper. 3" toytec lift has been priced out, picking it up this week. This thread is to keep me motivated to keep going. After seeing lots of your builds and tutorials Im finally starting my own 1rst Gen Taco. Previously I sas's a 92 yoda and had a blast. Can post some pics if interested. But this thread is about this stock grampa wagon in my driveway that is begging for help......

    Nice. That's my fav color.
What's up with the odd gap between the cab and shell? Is it from a different year?

Day 1... Murdered front end, contemplating doing the hood too... any of you black out your hood?

Interesting.... I just noticed that.. I have a nice basket to put on it, so hopefully once its up there it will be less noticeable...

Nice work. Will be watching for ideas. Curious how the plasti-dip holds up in front. Put some on my motorcycle and it nicked off in several places.
