Just picked up a 2013 White double cab Tacoma Baja. My first Taco, but I loved this truck the second I drove her off the lot. Its a great fit for my high mile driving and weekend thrill seeking! No time to do major mods, so the Baja package is 100% perfect for my needs!

Have always dodged the Toyota's (no pun intended) due to the perception of not being american made, but did some reading and it sounds to be as american made as anything else on the road today. Wish I would have looked sooner!

500 miles + 2 off road trips over the weekend and I am completely sold! Great ride with way more balls than I expected! Look forward to chatting with yall about the good times to come in this truck!

Awesome! I've been a Toyota fan for years. All three Toyotas I've owned were manufactured in the United States. My Taco says it came from the CA plant. My Camry came from Kentucky. Forget where my ex-wife's Sienna was built.

Pretty sad you can buy a "Japanese" vehicle made on American soil by Americans yet you can buy an "American" vehicle made in Mexico or elsewhere.

Not anymore....in the early 2000's they were made at the Numi Plant in Freemont, Ca. Now they be building Tesla's there. My friends 02 was built there...was funny, he works in Auburn, Ca and had to order his Taco in Nevada to get the options he wanted (back in the days when you could actually order a truck)....was coming home from work and saw one just like what he was getting on a transport headed East....a few hours later he got a call to come get his truck in Reno so the first view he had of his truck was of it being hauled from Cali to Nevada....

Sweet rig OP, congratulations! Awesome that it came with a painted shell.

I love my TX Baja, they're great trucks.

And good call on the American made statement. I have that conversation a lot when I rave about Toyota, people say, nah got to made made in 'merica like Chevy and Ford, while our trucks are more American made then they are. No sense arguing ignorance lol.
My neighbor has a big 'made in America' sticker on his Tundra, makes me smile.

Nice Truck! One of the few Baja's I've seen that still has all the graphics on it. It's twin lives just down the street from me (except the owner pulled all but the TX graphics off of it...2014 White Baja)

Don't be surprised, but your Baja may have been made in Baja!?? In your front door jam is the factory location. My 2010 Double Cab (like all or most double cabs) was made at Toyota de Baja California (that's Mexico Kyitty)... California USA (or Alta California before 1848) plant long ago closed down. My Mexican made Tacoma is the best of my three Tacomas... and I use it for going to Baja California, Mexico!

    Exactly my thoughts

That " California " truck was probably made in Mexico
