So I got it all back together for the moment. It will come apart in a few weeks to make some "adjustments" for the huge 9000lb Come Up winch I acquired. :) I will have to get some much better pics in the mountains but for now here is the front end back together.

Your bumper came out amazing! I really like the design. I had a couple questions about it. Is it it a two piece design where the bumper is separate from the skid that sits under the winch housing? Also I was looking at the instructions for the 4runner version on their website and saw that they had to cut some areas of the front grill supports. Did they have to do that on the tacoma as well?

Yeah it is 2 piece design. You have to install the sub-frame on to our truck frames first using the factory mounting points PLUS additional side supports on the frame. They had to use a grinder on the lower cross member just a tad to get it to fit correctly but the sub frame is built to add strength overall to the front end.

Then you do not cut the lower sub frame for the light and grill you can unbolt it and remove it. I am testing now to see if there is any post issue because you loose the 2 lower light screw in points. So far no problems.

I've seen this design before on older Toyota's and always like the look. Always wondered about the open winch box, but I guess it's not all that different than the traditional setup. Those aren't exactly weather tight either. I'm guessing it had no issues mating up with your current skids?
Looking forward to hearing your thoughts as it gets more use.
Sub'd, I've got a lot of reading to do on this rig:cool:

Yeah any skid set up that uses the stock front bolts will work just fine with this bumper. The open winch thing I still have to address. I will be getting a winch cover to protect the syn line from the road. The winch I am running is AL bodied so it should be fine and the control box is up behind the grill.

And welcome to what I am building. :D
