The trigger is pulled. Officially closing in 2 weeks. Beginning of the second week, there will be the buy option. Going to put a thread up on fjcruiser forums too

Out of curiosity, what happened to the shoes and boots that required warranty?

Adhesion issues. Sole separated on the heel of the shoes. Boots, separated the overmoulded sole from the toe box.

If you have any GTX (Gore-Tex) items. Unconditional life time warranty to be water proof. Includes wear and tear normally

Righto. I hate the people who bring their shoes back to REI after 2 years and say the sole wore out and get new ones (I know they recently changed this policy, mostly because of these peeps). F'n tools.

End of thread derail. Yay for ARB GB!

Salomon and Asolo I have had this issue with. I only deal with the manufacturers at that point. The return policy has been changed and it is to be expected. People take advantage of the wrong things. kills it for the people who actually need the best return policy in the industry.

Maybe they should start selling extended warranties on items for in-store returns and exchanges or something.

People fail to realize if they get a great pair of shoes, warranty is a factor. I had some Salomons that started nobbing off like some off road tires after a few hard runs on the trails. That too was covered and I didn't bother with the store again at that point.
