I told her. Got yelled at as usual. Called every name in the book. Had my integrity questioned. You know. Same old story.

Test run is this coming week for the kids. There spring break. Taking a week with them and going to the beaches. Leaving the wife local so she can work since she doesn't like the beach. We will see what happens.

    ------

She is over it for now. Wants me to 'bring money home' - :headshake:

If St. Louis area ends up on the route somewhow I'm in for a big box. Didn't get that button blank out while on vacation - imagine that - but will do as soon as I get Wife safely off to her TDY and I begin operating without adult supervision.

Thread could use a "I went here for TacomaWorld" map added to it on the frontpage.

    Thats MO, Right?

Its almost the same distance and time.

toss a little fuel money in there and we might have a deal. Thats all I am really asking for the trip[. People pay the fuel costs within reason.

He'll (hopefully) be in Dallas at least long enough to do my install, so there's that.

Straight shot to me from the District is 780 miles if taking the northern route or 830 miles if you go through Kentucky. That two or three tanks for you?

EDIT: Just reread your fuel economy. Gonna need more than three tanks to get to me. LOL

Here is the plan so far. Doing a huge loop for the most part for the trip. No Cali people firmed up and from Tucson area to LA is approximately 8hrs or 500 miles.

DC -> Dallas TX -> Tucson AZ -> Beckemeyer IL -> DC

Now remember, I plan on doing this over the period of about 3-4 weeks beginning in the middle to end of the month in April.

Might be extended longer for Overland Expo West or some of the other meets.

Really is based off the amount of boxes that are moved & installs that fund the fuel costs.

Fuel economy to you Palehorse1 - Your right. Even posted a pic of the most recent fuel purchase and economy a couple posts up. Something I am counting on for the trip is being re geared and locked by the time I leave. The ARB Group Buy ends middle of the month, and the trip will then be from

DC - ECGS in NC - Dallas TX - Tucson AZ - Beckemeyer IL - DC

In that, hopefully the fuel economy will be better and or accurate on the vehicle gauges vs GPS/ Torque Pro app.

The first week in May I have already obligated my time in Tucson. Thats install and a little recreation time.

Based off current fuel economy, yeah, thats about 4 tanks to you from DC and that is where I would normally gauge the fuel cost from. I'm sure you wouldn't want to look at the cost from tucson to you;) ~1500 miles one way.

Drive straight to Southern UT. You can burn up 3-4 weeks easy. I left Failorida in 6/07, been here since exploring. I'm still on the tip of the iceberg.
