That's a solid word of warning hahahaha. I'm trying to see Louise CK in the city soon. I saw him last year but it was at Mountain View which is not a prefered venue for comedy...

Well, Americas Tire was able to get a hold of 5 BFG KM2 for me in 255/85/16. I guess this size is no longer being made. These were shipped from Florida and being installed as I type.

Yea I think 255 33" are lighter, but not sure how much of a diff you would get going wide at 33".

I put 33s on my Runner and gas hardly even changed. Like a mile per gallon. I had some people on the 4Runner forums saying I would be down 4-5 MPG. Decent gas still and it looks way beefier..... Win Win

Yea it honestly doesn't seem like I've lost much mpg's at all with my 33's & stock gearing (2.7l 3rz ext cab). Then again I was getting crap mpg's to begin with though.

I noticed the mpg's drop after lifting, and after the RTT went on. Other than that nothin has caught my eye as making a noticeable hit..

Edit: forgot tires, that made a little bit of difference, but yet to notice any change from 33x10.5" to 33x12.5"

Most of which who say these things just read into it way too much. Or they run smaller tires and are jelly so they try to bring you down with false information. :D

I lost MPG's with my lift and moving up in tire size, but I really didn't care since I still gun it every so often. My MPG is crap anyways, I bought a truck, not a prius :D I've got the motorcycle for MPGs

Wells Fargo Center gets lots of comedy shows. I have been to Comedy Central tapings in the city, been to chappelle, quite a few comedians... The funniest hands down was Nick Swardson. I was hurting from laughing so hard. If you ever get the chance you HAVE to see him. Louis CK does Wells Fargo Center and so does Lewis Black.

I just don't think it is a big deal... These weren't efficient trucks to begin with. What's an mpg or two of difference? My .02 if you want to do a lift, bigger tires, armor, brake mod, just have fun and go for whatever your coin purse will allow. I mean, it's not like you are v8 swapping it or anything, then you might have mpg concerns :)

I actually thought about a little side business making stickers.
