Does anyone know if the base regular cab 2014 trucks have any kind of splash guard or skid plate? I bought it used...so I don't know it's normal to see straight through to the floor when the hood is open or base regular cabs 2wd don't have any.

Also does the skid plate or splash guard fit without Mod for the regular cab? Appreciate some help.

My SR5 had black splash pan under motor and another one behind it too. I would think yours should have at least the black splash guard one under the motor. Dealership probably left it off while 1st owner was having the free oil changes done. Mine is reg cab and no mods needed to add skid. You can score the black pans cheap in FS section here. The TRD ones show up here and there but go pretty quick.

I appreciate you post a picture if you know what it looks like so I know what I am buying. It'll also help me look under and see what I am missing if it was left out of the truck.

Oh...so you are also saying any skid plate will also fit my 5 lug 2014 regular cab Taco?

Any thank you for the reply!

Would the 4 cylinder Tacoma have the same engine splash guard and the V6? Is this the skid/splash guard you are talking about?

4 cyl and 6 cyl shouldn't matter but 5 lug and 6 lug might be a bit different, not sure if frames are same as far as skids go. Mine look similar to pic above but couldn't swear they are exactly the same.

Can you still access the oil pan drain bolt with the accessory skid plate installed, or do you need to remove the skid plate for access?

Does this come with new bolts or do I reuse my existing bolts, cause I am
Missing on on the stock splash guard, stays up fine but I would to have all 4 eventually if I get this Oem skid plate
