    This is my plan.

I contacted the lift company. They were surprised that it was making contact so I will see what they say before I do anything. But most likely get the relocation kit since my VSC is already freaking out and more body roll will make it worse.

Anyone care to comment on having the dealer re-calibrate the VSC? Worthwhile $ or not?

recalibrate yourself. Im pretty sure there is a pdf on here that tells you how to do it via a simple jumper on the OBD port.

Myself i have had Zero issues with extra sensitive VSC even after lift and swaybar removal.

I have done the re-calibration my self a few times now and while it did improve the issue I am still having VSC problems.

when i lifted my truck my vsc light came on, i had my cousin try to reset it for me cause he's a tech at the dealer hooked it up to a computer and it was my steering angle sensor that was off. reset it it came back on after like a minute of driving he told they might have to drive it around and adjust it so i just left my truck there and they charged me 30$ different dealers charge different another member on here paid 120$.

I gotcha. My steering wheel was off to the left just a hair before the lift and is now off just to the right.

I have an appointment for tomorrow afternoon. If I go Ill report back what was found.

    Thank you for the input.

    Not yet.

I found my sway bar making contact with my coils. I am talking with the lift manufacturer now to get that resolved.

After that I am having a few things changed on my alignment, mainly a little less camber and less toe in and my steering wheel pointed dead nuts center.

Then I will address the VSC. Right now I am driving around it. I find that if I do not accelerate in tight turn the VSC does not come on. I have also decided that if the dealer is not able to correct the issue by calibration I will kill the system with a switch.

I went back and had the aligment shop center my steering wheel. It made a dramatic effect on the VSC. It was only of a hair but now it is dead nuts straight.

I really have to try to make it do it now. Normal driving does not set it off. After reading the many threads on this issue it appears that the vast majority that have an issue have an un-centered steering wheel which I believe agrivates the issue.

Agreed. That is how it's supposed to work. Essentially it thinks it is in a skid.
My JK was the same way, if the steering wheel was just barely off center it would go into a limp mode and do some weird stuff.

I have a 2011 trd 4 door . Im having same issues as whyj . Have had 2 allignments , zero point calibration twice after the 6 inch lift . I want to try shimming the yaw sensor or the vsc controller. Im not sure which one i need to shim or if they are the same thing and i do not know where to find it or them. I have read that it works for the tundras , hoping for the best on my tacoma . I have been trying to figure out the issue for a month now . Could use some HELP in a bad way.

Nothing worked for me completely. Recalibrate, re zero, shimming and alignments.

The problem is the wheel sensors are getting freaked out by the larger tires.

So I just drive around it now. If I accelerate through a tight right hand turn with a dip it will do it. If I don't accelerate through the turn it won't do it.

There is a 2015 tacoma with the same lift and basically the same truck only a short bed that lives in my home town . Never has had an issue with the vsc . Its pissing me off at this point ! Did you shim yours and if so where is it located? With that guy never having an isuue , its hard for me to think that its the speed sensor . I dont know . Im going to mess with it as far as accelerating through the curves. It definately seems to be worse when going slightly downhill and it doesnt have to be fast . It will do it even around 5mph.
