    Lucky dog! I think were gonna skip Mecca this year and spend all 3 week in CO. We should absolutely meet up this year cept this time I wont have gifts not that you need them.:cool:

    Pretty much everything near Silverton and then some since we have 3 weeks to muck around. I also plan on doing a lot of fishing as I didn't get to use my CO license all that much last year.

    expect to see snow still...silverton got hit pretty hard this winter...they're showing a 75" base right now...

    some nice areas that could have good fishing would be stony pass, kite lake and heart lake region...it dumps you into the Rio Grande headwater area...not highly traveled...connects the silverton area to lake city area...last time i was going to go through there, fires had the area closed and i couldn't go through...

    Will keep you posted as the dates get closer and who knows we might just make another run on Moab this year? If we do Utah again this go Im gonna hit the canyon lands area a lot and get in some good hiking this time hell might even bring the Mt. bike and run the Whole Enchilada.

    can't go wrong with that game plan...we're hitting up the maze next month and looking to maybe hit up hell roaring rim and hey joe canyon this year which is just north of where the white rim trail comes back out near mineral bottom


    check out the needles district for some really cool areas to hike into...off elephant hill, trails like the joint trail and others in that area...or in lavender and davis canyon there's really cool shit to see
