The other benefit to me doing that was Wheeler's assembled them. I have dealt with spring compressors before. It's not fun. I gladly paid them to do it for me.

You can get by without UCAs if you use 884s. Probably not if you go with anything that'll go higher than those.

Lol. Sounds like a normal winter to me. :notsure:

Spring around here is usually in the 30's or low 40's, until we hit a warm snap somewhere in April. Then it's like somebody flipped a switch and we go from 30's to 50's overnight.

I'll probably run the stock coils for the time being. I wanna see how bad the squat is towing the boat with the truck leveled.

My 5100s are ok. One leaked for a while but now seems to have stopped. They rode like junk when I had eibach coils on. They are better with OME 881s, but I'm not that impressed. They are fine for what they are, and I couldn't beat the price I got them at.

I have 5100s at 2.5 with sport coils . Rides good . I've had eibach coils at one point and I hated it . I also had offroad coils at one point . Wasn't to bad . Sport coils are the best IMO .

That's a good question, it's like half the price of then new plus whatever paid for the arms. So at that point might as well have just got new. Wonder if it's cause he has to get the old uni balls pressed out and new ones in by a shop

Need new uniballs, new misalignment spacers, and bolts. Might be less, I have to call Camburg and see if I can get just those 3 items. The full rebuild kit is $320 plus shipping.

    Fuck you.

    I'd rather pay $370 than $699 :)

Arms currently have no uniballs in them.

Ball joints would either slide out of place when wheeling, or the nut would round off when you go to adjust them. Ball joints wear out really quickly too.

My alignment was ok but wasn't great with them.

Just got off the phone with All Pro. The replacement stuff will be cheaper :) uniballs allow for a little more travel too

Sounds like that weren't torqued enough. There shouldn't be much lateral load on them.

So are you getting new LCA's and CVs too to allow for this extra travel?

Alignment shop didn't torque them properly.

New CV boots, and stock LCAs. More droop and such

If you like uni-balls better, that's perfectly fine but the reasons you listed for not wanting them aren't exactly what I'd call accurate. Just sayin...
