    I was in the same boat as muffdiver man. I was in high school and noticed my hairline was receding. I started shaving my head second year of college, luckily I've got a decent shaped head. It can be tough to get over but at some point you gotta face that adversity head on and adapt with a new plan. My .02 would be to find an alternative to dropping that money.

    Just think about the chemicals/hormones (whatever it is) they must use to try and regrow your hair. That can't be healthy.

    Good luck with whatever your decision is.

    since you politely asked, yes the yamsack does get trimmed. But only with a guard on. There have been way too many close encounters in the past. From your post it sounds like you may have an idea how long it takes for it to stop bleeding.
