You got some AMAZING speakers. Those are my next upgrade from the V165 30th anniversary editions I have. Really those are some of the nicest speakers I've heard in the under $1500 dollar range. Hertz has a set that sound amazing as well for a bit cheaper. But focal's tweeters are just amazing to me.

But I hate to be the dick who has to say you are powering them with utter bullshit. The punch amp is 'standard'.

Basically you are putting 87 octane into a Lambo.

Honestly, you have plenty of room for a good A/B amp to push those speakers. It's not all about watts, but about the quality of sounds. The amp is standard so Lots of power, but the SQ is lacking. The amp you are using you will never be able to hear them do their magic. They might get loud but that's about it. That amp is just destroying the possible sound quality.

As for the alpine power pack, I'm shocked they even sounded good at all with only 45watts of power going to them. I've heard my focals on a power pack and they were god awful sounding.

If you need help with finding an amp that will work better for those let me know.

Ya I had some Hertz door speakers before, they were alright, Hertz speakers are super loud but Focals have better SQ. My sub is a Hertz shallow. I know I am powering them with crap. But there is no room for anything larger. I am open to hear any suggestions you think you have. They won't fit. Only place I have for an amp is inside the dash, which is extremely limited. There is no room under the seat, and the entire space behind the bench seat is a custom glass enclosure to get every bit of box space.

Edit: if you really think you know one that will work better suggest it, and price is of no concern.

In 2 weeks or so, would one of you guys be willing to loan me a jack so that I can install my front coilovers? Or hell maybe someone would help me out with their driveway or something?

    Mod day interest?

Agree on Hertz vs Focal. That's why I love the Focals, they sing!

I've not tried to get much up in the dash but there are lots of A/B amps to choose from. The class BR is new and nobody really has much info on them. Most buyers of that amp are using them for Motorcycles currently due to space and power draw. From what I can read its about the same sound quality as Class D.

Also BR amps have ground issues at times. Typically they run better when grounded to the battery directly. So if you run into that amp cutting in/out change the ground to the battery. Not sure why this helps but even Rockford has a page about it.

I'd have to see what you have in the truck to see where amps can go. I have no room behind my rear seats either, but I can fit 4 amps under the front seats easy. If you don't use your glove box fitting an amp in there wouldn't be so hard to do.

I'll reach out to a guy I know who likes to do huge systems in tiny cars. He has some nice amps that are small and work great, it's just about how much are you willing to spend.

Ya my sub amp has a residency in the glovebox, so that space is already called for. There is no room under my seat at all. You can hardly fit your fingers under there when you loose safety equipment. This is actually amp number two, the first one I got had an internal grounding issue. As you can tell by me putting Focals in a pickup, money isn't really of a concern. I just like nice sound, whether it be at home or in the car.
It's all a very tight fit with me being 6'2"

Let me reach out to a guy on TW that has a deal on A/B amps that are small and produce lots of power. They are smaller than the Alpine PDX series.

Ah the joy. Mother in law's hard drive took a shit and she lost everything. Sucks.

Turned out she didn't submit our taxes yet, which were on her hard drive....

Guess who's scrambling to re-install Window 7 on this POS?
