Trying to weigh All Pro vs Pelfreybilt. Pelfreybilt has a longer wait time and I can't seem to find very many pictures online without the $275 reverse led option. They are all pics of the 3 same tacomas.

Bruteforce has a pretty decent wait time right now. I think 5 to 6 weeks plus about 5-10 days shipping via fastenal

The big decision is high clearance or not.

What are you doing with the bumper?

If you want it to protect your truck in parking lots - you don't need high clearance.

If you're off roading, you'll already have discovered that the ass end of the tacoma and its departure angle is a big limitation and that's why you want a high clearance bumper. But going high clearance requires a level of commitment.

Relentless has hands-down the best looking high clearance bumper, as it integrates visually with the line of the truck and the fender flares in ways the other simpler designs don't.

But it's hard to recommend Relentless because the lead times are so long; you'll be waiting a loooong time if you order from Eric, and you need to make your peace with that.

Sounds like you need to spend a little more time thinking about what you want and what you're going to use it for.

The main purpose is to replace the damaged one and buy one cheaper than new oem parts. Which is all of them.

I got my Sawtooth bumper (built local to me) for the same reasons. Out of your list I would do CBI.

I came in here thinking we were talking about a winch in a rear bumper but I vote Pelfrey. Hands down the cleanest design.

CBI does nice stuff and their turnaround time is reasonable.

All Pro is the most affordable option by quite a bit. For your stated purpose of replacing damaged bumper with a solid low cost aftermarket plate bumper - I'd probably go with them.

Pelfrey also does nice stuff and is less expensive than CBI.

EDIT - also keep in mind pretty much all the bumpers you're looking at come bare metal. You'll need to spend some time stripping and painting them unless you pay extra to have them powder coated.

op it all comes down to what you like. I have had good customer service with all pro, most of my parts on my truck are all pro minus a few bits from arb and relentless so there will be bias on my end.

The one thing that will be common with all of these bumpers is a much better clearance compared to the stock bumper since they are angled, have shorter overhang, and much thinner in terms of height for the oem bumper - so your tire, if you still stow it under the bed will show a lot more.

I have the all pro bumper with hidden hitch which offers me more than all i will ever need. It comes shipped with included license plate lights if you wish to use them. In terms of weight it is not far off from the stock bumper, give or take 10 lbs. I have no experience with pelfy so I can give you my opinion on relentless. Eric makes really nice stuff, but his downfall is his lead time and if you decide to powder coat you will be delayed further. If it was not for that i would have opted for his rear bumper. All pro is quick and has great customer service, any problems or missing items in shipping were always handled in a very quick and hassle free manner.

I got my Relentless r p bumper, I ordered it with out the crazy "R" logos (IMHO) cut in the end caps took about 7+ months the communication was horrible and my schedule slipped 4+ times. One thing that really bothered me was after the wait the thing seems to droop. Look at the photo L & R end-caps set lower I wondered if they had a level :(

It took me a bit to see what you were talking about. Now I see it in every pic. I don't like the gap between your tail lights and the bumper. I'm starting to like some others better. That's too bad. It's silly, but I like the Relentless name. 13% edgier.

I'm in the AP/Pelfry camp at the moment. It's down my list of stuff.

    Check the build thread.
    Pelfreybilt for sure.
Sometimes these decisions come down to personal style etc but something to consider is not just the outside appearance but what the insides look like!
Pelfreybilt bumpers don't have any random lips or areas that collect dirt, mud, etc etc which never seem to clear out no matter how much you pressure wash it. If you are a collector of things this might be appealing though lol

If you find a bumper you like make sure you check the build quality is all I'm saying and stay away from those inner lips at all costs.
Check the photo above posted by @unlewser and you can see on the Pelfreybilt bumpers they are built with no weird areas for collecting.

If I had the patience I would get Relentless, but I'll forget I even ordered a bumper if the lead time is 6 months. so gotta give it to AP w/ swing out carriers.
