I rock mine every time. But that's also because we put our daughter in the pack n play down there. I still use it even if I'm Rollin' solo, usually just to make my lowly ground dwelling friends jealous of my awesome sky mansion. Once you put it up a few times u get the hang of it, takes 10 minutes.

 

Hey about that little buddy, I know it was discussed earlier in this thread, but are you not concerned about CO poisoning? Or do you have a vent/outlet for it?

 

I keep a window cracked unless im changing clothes then I want it as warm as possible but it has an O2 sensor on it, probably should have a CO detecter though

 

I got a battery powered CO dector i use when i sleep in the back of my truck (till i get the rtt). I have velcro and just stick it up above me and turn it on

I'd just put a Blue Sea cig outlet in the bed so it's in a universal area, then just run extension cords if needed

 

I have 2 12v BSea outlets in the rear passenger bed box in the bed and one behind the rear driver seat accessed when folded down for a refer. Both run under the bed through the firewall to the Spod it will serve well.
That is what I have for an extension for lights, etc. in the tent.

 

Blue Sea fb is a proven and solid choice for anyone and have a huge following in the expo/off road environment. Absolutely the best prices for a quality product in the industry imo.

 

True, I would like to see one as well I suspect it is not their niche or focus as there seems to be a plethora of companies that make them. A 12 ft single male to dual female would be ideal for those with one outlet.

 

Good idea, had not thought of doing that. Will look for wire recommendation chart.

 

FYI. the ARB fridge kit is the 8 gauge wiring harness to one of the 12v outlets just for reference.

Basically doing the same thing. Ran power to the left rear storage box for the fridge, and added a power port and usb connection. If power is needed in the tent, I just run an extension through the side and plug in our phones or whatever there.





Other then that, I used these for lights to eliminate the hassle of having to wire up the whole tent and deal with LED strips. I velcro the backside of the light, then put velcro in whatever areas I may need it, that way it can mount anywhere.

Anyone else with a Tepui annex have theirs like this? It's the ends that slide into the channel to hold it on to the tent (on the left) and where it connects to the zippers (on the right) , mine is literally held on by 2 threads. The other side tore already

 

Brian, It's a little hard to tell exactly what I'm looking at there. Can you send me another pic ( a little wider shot) that shows what part of the annex that is?

Edit: Update. Brain sent me another photo. If anyone else is seeing this it's totally normal It's just how the webbing material is stitched during assembly and those two pieces aren't meant to be connected. The end with the male end of the zipper should break free if it's stitched together like Brian's photo so that the end of the zipper can be inserted into the female end of the zipper pull.

 

Yup he helped me and I got it! Looks really nice all put together, not sure I've ever seen a ruggedized autana with the annex on yet!

 

Hello!

I have a question for you RTT owners. I have a 4x4 Regular cab, 2014, and have ordered a All Pro Bed Rack and will be purchasing a CVT Mt Bachelor next month during the group buy. I'm trying to decide what to use for a lift, and how much sag I should account for in the rear. I'm going to be running 265-75-16 treadwright guard dogs on pro comp 7069's, and was thinking go just doing 5100's all around, set to 1.75, and then maybe a 2" AAL in the rear, or, if need be, a wheelers leaf pack replacement, though I'd rather not if I don't have to due to cost.

So my question for you all is, how much sag should I expect from the bed each and RTT, and should I do the AAL or the Leaf pack, or do you have other suggestions? I won't be doing any serious crawling, and it's still a DD as I commute less than 5 mins to work, so I don't need anything extreme at all.
