I always tell people when I am selling something that I am not going to go any lower - don't try and nickel and dime me because I will pack it up and walk away.

Sold a mountain bike and stated it had a flat tire in the ad. Drove 30 minutes and met a some guy who tried to give me $15 less than I asked for because he needed a new tube. I said "did you not read the description? I told you it had a flat tire."

He said something along the lines of "Oh I saw it and figured you would take $15 less for a new tube...." I was selling the thing for $550 so its not like it was a shit bike.

I turned around and started to put the bike back in my truck and he quickly goes "oh I just found another $15 in my wallet, here you go, full asking price" with the attitude that he was doing me a favor. I was tempted to just tell him to go fuck himself, but figured what the hell. Craigslist used to be a great place to get some good stuff, but then the local scum took over and turned it into an online dump.

    Morning!

I hear ya. I've had some really bad buyers on craigslist, but the last month has been great. Been selling a ton of stuff(boat, bike, rototiller, goose decoys, meat grinder, lumber) and people haven't beat me up too much and I haven't had a single no-show.

oh craigslist is so much fun, once my friend and i drove out to Taunton to look at a 93 mustang he wanted. the dam thing looked perfect in the pictures we got there and even a kid could tell it had been jumped way too hard. the nose was high and the gap between the door and fender was touching at the top and about an inch and a half at the bottom. he literally started hosing down his driveway all around the car as soon as we pulled up, clearly he didn't want us looking under it. we were done there in about 2 mins

    Um, Fiddy-One, Billy. Boo-yah.

Selling my old Xtracab on CL was painful. I let the guy talk me down a bit on the phone ($3,300 down from $3,500), told him to show up with that or else I'm walking, he wanted to give me $3,000, I turned around and walked away and he relented.

I have someone interested in a set of Eibach springs for my STi. Asking $200, got a $150 offer, said no, he countered with $175, said okay, let's see what happens when the time comes.

I've gotten some killer deals on CL actually, knock on wood. There's a set of TRD OR wheels right now for $150 that need some love that I'd love to refinish and flip, but I can't really do much in the cold right now.

I've been keeping my eyes open for a set of OEM running board style steps for my truck for when I lift, but I haven't seen anything there yet. Hopefully I have enough left over in the truck fund once I lift and sell my stock stuff to get a used set.

All this talk about car seats made me seriously think about trading my truck for a '15 DCSB and swapping everything over, but then I realized it's a minimum of 2 years before I even have a kid here and it will be a weird set of circumstances where we wouldn't have the family vehicle to haul the kids around. My Mom's 10 minutes down the road with an SUV, the in-laws are 15 minutes the other way, also with an SUV.

My dad is gonna help me buy a CCW for my 21st. So many options out there. I've decided on 9mm but finding a gun I like that is small-medium size, with good non-switched safeties, accuracy, durability, etc is daunting.

Yeah fuck that. The guy was talking about how his part timers pull in 50k a year, yet he's driving a $16k Kia.

One of my occasional customers.. I'll certainly pass on that deal. It's not for me.

This is Noel we're talking about here...

Go to a range where you can rent and try a bunch out. See if you can check out holsters at the same time and see how they feel under your clothes, sitting etc...

Also done listen to all the internet bad ass's telling you you must carry locked and loaded all the time. Carry without one in the chamber or completely unloaded until you get comfortable with it. You are going to feel like everyone is staring at you and knows you have it. Do whatever you feel comfortable with until you are more familiar /have a greater comfort level.

    That's my ¢0.1

    I'll throw in the other cent;

If you're going to carry it around unloaded, at least carry a loaded mag in your pocket or something.
And check in the mirror to see if you're printing or your shirt rides up etc before you leave the house.

Any recommendations for a 5'7" 175 lb/ 32 waist guy trying to conceal carry in NH? I have a M&P 9c currently but with my IWB holster it's obvious as day.

Obvious 'buy Glock 43' answer is obvious.
