I suspect 35's+ is going to be hard on a stock cv axle and steering mechanicals, but how many axles have you broken and what were you doing when you did?

Axles break, not a huge thing. I don't think it'll be nearly as bad as people say. Steering components may very well wear faster, but again not a huge deal.

The flip side is bigger tires mean less difficulty Offroad. Less stress on the truck trying to get over things. Kinda like a sharp knife is safer than a dull knife thing. I'll chance it.

Im using my droid Maxx. I may have to use an old phone, this one doesn't have enough storage for much (or delete some pictures). I don't have an iPod but I may be able to get iTunes on here anyway. I'm gonna try that. I don't leave till morning so I'm gonna mess with it tonight after I finish packing.

If all else fails I got the password to my buddies audible account so I can listen to whatever he has on there.

    Thank you Jamie

No doubt there will be pro's and cons, I might have to come down to SC when you start the hack job just to witness the process. I've not heard about too many cv axle breaks with 35s but I can see how the weight change with the much larger tire size might be an issue on front end part wear and tear.

I've broke one being a dumb ass at gulches on 265s then this one I have now is just clicking, but i have two blown boots and haven't checked em for grease so they may have just broke from not having grease in them.

I'll be getting high angle boots and rebooting my cv axles
