    Hmm... true. I'm liking the idea of all silver motor w/ the red valve cover. Either that or just go with the typical black engine block, red valve cover, and aluminum/silver everything else.

    Good to hear! I still don't know where you guys get the idea that they are any good in snow though. :luvya: But they are damned good tires. I was rather surprised how little tread wear there was when I sold them to Monte. I'm going to assume it had a lot to do with religiously maintaining the 'correct' PSI and proper rotation intervals.

    Another opinion from you guys...

    I still have the rear window, but it obviously won't fit without some modification due to the cage. Keeping the window would be purely out of sentimental value since it's one of the few the left that is original to the truck. :anonymous:

    Cut/modify the window and hope I can get it to fit, or ditch it and mount a single piece of lexan?

    Good idea. Knowing me if it ever gets out of the garage... that'll be the first thing the gets fucked up.

    I could see that happening. :D I could always duplicate it and throw a toytec sticker on the lexan haha

    I can't believe the first page is updated. I mean... you did alot of work in just a day! Basically yesterday you had an IFS truck with a stock axle in front of it and now it's got no engine, floor, firewall... drivetrain? Hell, is it even the same color? :luvya:

    Anywho, you need to incorporate your shop logo on there too.. The HD FAB one you had a highly skilled person design in mspaint :luvya:

    I'd just burn it in with welding wire. My handwriting with a welder can't be any worse than my handwriting with MS Paint. :luvya:


    Started coping the tubes for the sliders. First time using the HF tube notcher I bought like 2 years ago. :rolleyes: Can't say I'm a fan of using them for anything but 90 degree copes. Unless they have deeper hole saws available??

    I cut the rocker panels off so I could have boat sides that hug the chassis and provide maximum clearance. Not sure if these sticking out as far as they are would negate the advantages gained from the boat sides.
