To me it looks a little less of an angle. But nothing really to stress about

I agree, diff drops are more for vibes. I dont have any vibes with the diff drop... Never tested it without though...

I'm planning on upgrading my differential gears for my 01 tacoma. I'm wanting 4.56 gears. But if I do this how do you change the front differential gears and would I have to buy 2 sets of nitro 4.56 diff gears. It seems like to me that it only comes in 1 differential gear swap. Also my rear diff has the trd RR locker

Found a Leer topper from a WTB listing I made on Clist. $240.

Also some new toys came in the mail.. These should compliment the new shoes nicely.

Yeah I'll look around for the best price for OEM, but I think my dad has pullers for ball joints already

Camelback has OEM for $55 (drivers side) and $60 (Passenger side).

I want to replace the LBJ bolts when I replace the BJ's, where is the best place to get them? I didn't see them on camelbacks site.

    Good call ha

OEM all day over the Moog

Pitman puller is all you need that's different. Way better then a pickle fork. Can rent one for free from the parts store. Or just buy it. Like 15 bucks

Happened to me twice...third time I've had issues with LBJs..

Diff drops don't even lower the diff. They only lower the front mounts so the net drop is like less then 1/2".

All the photos in here have the same issue and that's the fins on the boots are touching. You can see the wear on them as they are dark and shiney. Eventually. The boosts will eat through themselves.

This is where aftermarket cvs have the only advantage as their boots have less fins which means a bigger gap between them and that means they don't touch. Sadly, the replacement cv axles themselves are weaker. So when you blow a boot. Try and use boots with less fins.

Stuff and things that make it better.
Changed the oil today, first time I did it without spilling a drop from the filter  ziplock for the win.

Also swapped out the fixed side mirrors for some earlier foldable ones.

Then replaced the wiper stock with one out of a Camry with the intermittent option, been putting this off to far too long.

This. Pitman puller s cheap and perfect for popping OTRE's and LBJ's. Love mine.

looked at it and said f*** thats alot of body work I need to do...

Also pumped up my leaky front tire. I've got two things to buy tires for. A truck (2wd beater driven in winter, can't cheap out on tires there) and a performance car (I put in all the effort to move a car from another continent I'm not cheeping out there either). Lets spend 2 grand on tires this week... Christ...
