Well anything will be better than those 8k HIDs. You're losing a ton of output right there.

As far as LEDs, I'm not a fan.. the technology isn't there yet. They have just as many moving parts and pieces that could fail as HIDs, with no better output.

Get yourself some quality ballasts and bulbs, in no more than a 5k.. and you'll be good. Trust me. Quality ballasts like the Morimoto ballasts and bulbs.

Why do you say that? LED headlights are a simple constant current DC-DC driver, the diode, and some fancy glass to throw light. Sure, the optics are still total crap, and they have a long ways to go in order to get them to project light like a well-designed HID, but they're much more reliable as a whole. HID bulb lifetime is under 2000 hours, LEDs if driven appropriately can last 50000 or more. HID ballasts have dozens of components that can fail, and that are generally prone to water damage unless your ballasts are completely potted. LEDs can be totally sealed from the elements pretty easily.

Morimoto isn't really a standard of quality... They're still mediocre Made in China products, but they're backed by very good customer support and a nice website at TRS. If you want quality, look at a pair of OEM ballasts and Phillips or Osram bulbs from Germany. Their better 6000k bulbs have output on par with a 4300-5000k if that's what you're into. I personally don't like the blue at all, but they're not necessarily always inferior.

    Agree to disagree.

Ill keep my HIDs with my quality ballasts that haven't had a failure in over 3 years.. over the LEDs, which have no greater output and have been known to die in 6 months.

So I started to talk a lil shit back right now then thought I should go look at the pms.... Yes I told u that price, you hit me up when I put a feeler up and asked about the price so threw out a number. I was still unsure as it was feeler, we were going back and forth while I was at work trying to get shit done but answer a bunch of pms so not to be a dick, I was 100% sure I sent you a pm saying that I added it up when I decided I was 99.999% sure I wanted to sell it an realized I missed the axles and cpl things. In fact I don't know if I just didn't send it or what but I have no record of that. So I do apologize that the price is different. You jumped on the feeler I said in the longtravel thread and I jumped the gun with a price. That said you should of pm'ed me an asked instead of this. I could of explained, and I don't plan on make money off it considering what I put into this front end. Im not on TW trying to buy an sell shit to make a fast buck, I do want hook up a fellow member an given everything I'm put up I think it's a deal. Good luck finding all this stuff for cheaper or even the same price. I took nothing from you, my pm even says estimate. You don't have to buy it and I don't have to sell it. In fact I'm very torn about selling it. I need to make enough off it to help with the new front or why even do it. My thread does say obo even though I'm hoping to asking or dam close.

So all said and done it is what it is, I am sorry that I didnt get that pm to you. if you still want it you can pm me and we can talk. The price it's at is still a fucking deal, if you don't thimk so then don't buy it. Camburg kits don't come up to often so the price is too much maybe you should look for an Engage kit lol.

Also for what it's worth I have been talking to several different people through pm, texting and what not so again I apologize for not getting the right asking price to you. But putting me on blast somewhere you didn't think I would read kinda rubs me wrong. Why didn't u pm me, or ask in the thread you linked :notsure:

Hey not saying hes not a good kid... I even apologized for not updating or what ever. I am a lil irritated I had to stumble upon his post instead of him just shooting me a pm.... And then the icing on the cake is calling me a tool, he don't fucking know me at all, has never dealt with me. I don't take kindly to people running their mouth about me. I get he's prolly bummed cuz it was a killer deal, still is a deal, but sometimes even kids need to watch what or how they say things.

You must of bought some extra low quality LED's. Let me guess, you still use a halogen flashlight too huh?

You must not know how to read...

I never said I had them.. as I don't want them.

Why don't you read the review threads regarding these LEDs. Multiple people claiming very short bulb life, equal if not less output than HIDs, for a higher cost. No thanks.

Yup, you got me.. halogen ftw...
