How tight are your clothes? Tucked or untucked? What position is your carry?
I carry a S&W Shield IWB during the winter and a Bodyguard during the summer with no printing. I'm 5'7, 160, with a 31" waist, 6 o'clock carry. :notsure:'
    Edit: I'm a small-framed guy, so if I switch to a 2 or 3 o'clock it prints like a mofo.

I carry my G19 or S&W 5906 as well, but only when I'm wearing a jacket that's long enough to cover them. They're large enough that carrying them IWB is uncomfortable after a while.

My clothes are probably 'too tight'. All my shirts are medium. Shirts never tucked, unless I'm going to work.

I'll have to try it at 6 o'clock. I've really only played around with it at home carrying at 3 to 4 o'clock, and like you said, it prints like crazy. Looking back now, I wish that I had picked up the shield.

What do you do with it when you sit down? Is 6 o'clock comfortable?

Not sure what you wear for pants, but I usually wear Dickies jeans or Wranglers. They've got pretty good freedom of movement and extra space for the gun & holster.

As for sitting down... 6 o'clock is comfortable in the truck but less comfortable on a bench or something, haha!

During the winter my jacket is long enough that it covers my belt line even when I'm sitting, so no problem there. And I like rugby shirts, so they do a decent job of covering it up too. Plus, usually when you're sitting the back of the chair hides any printing anyway. During the summer I'll usually wear an untucked button-up short sleeve shirt or polo, and if I'm going to tuck in I'll just switch to a pocket holster (Desantis Nemesis)

So basically, get a smaller gun... Also, I have grown to like Levis 514 jeans, but being an athletic build they are pretty 'fitted' on me. Not skinny jean status, but the added inch around my waste band is also very noticeable.

Yeah, if you're wearing Levi's 514's and a shirt that's fit similarly to the jeans you probably need a smaller gun. I think for something that size you're looking more at Bodyguards, LCP's, and PPK's, haha! Either that or longer shirts.

Edit- I used to ride a pedal bike a LOT when I was younger, so I've got pretty big quads. 514's are tight on my legs and 513's won't even fit over them. If I'm wearing Levi's they've got to be 550's or 559's. Although I did have a set of 517's that fit great, but I think they changed the cut because when they wore out and I went to replace them nothing fit. So I switched to Dickies and Wranglers because they're cut a little more generously in the seat and legs.

I have no opinion on the 43 yet; haven't had a chance to fondle one.

Yeah when I say 514s fit on my legs, I mean that I can't pinch any material on them when sitting. Some might say too tight, but I think they fit exactly how jeans should. When I went to the Levis store last, I talked to an employee and they said without going to a relaxed fit jean, the 514 had the biggest thigh circumference. Even the boot cut jeans were tighter. I tried the new 541 "Athletic" fit jeans, but they fit really weird. The crotch was hanging way too low and they looked all wrong on me.

Right, and I have to wear the relaxed fit stuff to get that 'correct' fit. 514's were skintight on my quads even while I was standing, and I could only get the waist on the 513's to about mid-thigh, haha! And those aren't even their skinniest cut! I really don't know how people wear those things.

While on the subject of jeans has anyone else noticed how shallow the pockets are getting? It's ridiculous; cell phones keep getting bigger and the pockets keep getting smaller...

Another advantage of Dickies jeans; my cell phone fits perfectly into the carpenter's pocket on the leg.

...and we had a sketchy buyer. If he had been honest from the get go, we wouldn't have had an issue.

Well he emailed me yesterday with a $150 offer on $200 springs. I said thanks but no thanks. Emailed me at midnight with $175. I agreed around 10 AM and at 3:30 PM he said where can we meet so I selected a place that'd work and asked what time.

He emails at like 6:30 and says 7AM tomorrow. Then 5 minutes later asks if he can buy then tonight and asks for my phone number (I had already given it). I responded back I was out for the night and would he do 9:30 tomorrow.

Then the texts come. Asks again to meet tonight and I said I couldn't. Asked me to ship the springs to his house in NJ. I had previously googled the email and deduced he must be up here on a trip. I said I can, but for the original price ($200) plus shipping, paid up front. He whined saying he expected $175 plus fees and shipping and can I meet earlier on his way home. I said he can come get them at 9 instead of 9:30 or I can ship at full price since I didn't want to deal with the hassle of shipping which is why they were for sale locally.

Got back a nice sarcastic sorry its a hassle, good luck text. Ugh.

He had all the time in the world today to set something up with me. If he had told me the story from the beginning that he was traveling and wanted to make the time work, maybe I'd bend. But to start with a lowball and then play games trying to force my hand...not worth my time.
