2 years and only a few scratches from brush and branches on my truck then while at work a crow puts a dent center hood .we got these black walnut trees all over the valley here and the crows have learned to pick them up fly about 40-50 feet up the drop on pavement (like parking lots) to break them open for the nut.these walnuts are hard if you stomp on one you can twist your ankle i know i have with boots on .anyways got one dent or ding from the drop and a smaller one from the bonce .top that for a first dent .i dont mind the dent as much as the location cant help but see the thing.was wondering if theres a bra or something to cover hood in the center cant think of a thing . thx all (GOT A FEW PICKS IN THE PHOTO SECTION RAINY DAY HARD TO SEE )

 thats actually funny but also sucks about the truck. Has anybody been hit yet by a falling nut? A good paintless dent repair guy can make it good as new. Ask me how I know. Where I park at home there is an overhanging tree branch and the birds seem to exclusively sit RIGHT there and poop their berry-colored crap on my truck.

Look up some good PDR guys in your area, by the way you described it they should be able to take care of that dent no problem. My brother had a similar one taken out in the fall on his Ram and it came out perfect. Guy basically said hoods are usually no problem as long as the dent isn't right above the hood brace, but even then they could usually get them.

Where I work is located near a large river. One year during our end of the summer sports award outside cookout I was cleaning up the area when a 10 inch fish fell out of the sky and landed 10 feet away. Luckily it did not hit anyone as 2 minutes earlier that location was full of kids. An osprey had caught a fish, flown off with it and dropped it. Not exactly hitting a vehicle but a rather peculiar sight.

This for sure. I had a guy work a dent out of my wife's Acura door panel. Looks perfect. It only cost $75.

Same dents as hail damage but you can't shoot the clouds for causing it.

Is there a crease at the edge of the dent that would prevent the metal from relieving? If not try this first. Heat the dent up nice and hot with a hair dryer or heat gun. Be careful not to get it so hot that it damages the paint. Once its good and hot turn a can of dusting air (like you use for a computer keyboard) upside down and blast it with the freezing liquid. If you are lucky the heating and contraction will pop it right out.

Has anyone been hit by one dropped by a bird? Yes, I have. I also have a couple of those dents on the roof of my truck.
