My method involved holding up my thumb at arms length and squinting first through one eye and then the other....

Maybe that's why it took two tries. :D

I got another set of stock leaves to build on so that if disaster struck and my pack was a complete failure, all I had to do was put my old leafs back in.

Wise man, but I don't think I'll afford myself this level of comfort. I have a while to think about it, though. I'm waiting till I have enough money for some new rear shocks and new shocks/springs up front...if I can ever decide what to go with up there!

trifecta tonneau, pop n' lock, Depo black bezel headlights, mb 352 wheels, 265/75r16 cooper at3s, visors, colormatched 2011 grille with raptor LEDs, much LEDs in and out Future/wanted: black valence, hood scoop, catback, CAI, 285/75r16s, OMD leaf pack mod
Thats the thing, you gotta watch that I guess. You'll wear the leafs if you negative arc them often and they could snap I suppose

You should get a u-bolt flip and new, longer bumpstops with a lift. Thats what I plan to do

That all seems reasonable with a lift. I'm going to try to stay stock or within 1.5", so hopefully I don't have to do any modification (brake lines, U-bolts, etc).

Nah you'll be fine. May want a better bumpstop, but not necessary

here is my current state of affairs after adding a cap and a heavier rear bumper.... you guys think it'll come back only adding a helper or two between the AAL and the stock pack?

Rear, I'd say yes, add omd mod, but what do the fronts of the leafs look like? That's more of a problem zone than the rear portion.

Hmm. To me it looks a lil negatively arched now, they might work

Yeah, I'd say so. I have not read this entire thread (half bs like all threads on TW lol), but the main gist of it is it should arch your main and secondary leafs back some.

What I don't know for sure is the length you should be cutting the AALs to. I'd guess as long as possible each way(front to rear) rear being longer than the front tho, I believe

I have tried to skim through to separate the info from the BS with little luck as well LOL.... Did you happen to see if there was any refurb of a stock pack where the main one is toast? Or if that one is no good then it's time to buy a whole new pack... This is only for packs where at least the main leaf is salvageable?
