    I forgot about the beach speed limits. lol. Aren't all beached in Texas considered state highways?

    The UH systems can bring in more state money by making each school a separate university. Kind of like how A&M has College station, Corpus Cristi, Kingsville, Galveston, health scene center, ect. Each location can max out Fed and State contributions that way.

    Makes sense.

    Public beach has a 15mph speed limit.

    Never seen it enforced except at San Luis Pass. In remote areas I'm certain people go way past that; I heard around 80mph+ it becomes a bit sketchy on the sand though.
