The stool is very high quality and built like a brick latrine.

Morning All:wave:...been very busy lately and haven't had much time for the internet. Speaking of painting:rolleyes: that's what I'm trying to do with not much success. Our bedroom and master bath have been torn apart (furniture removed) for a week and a half and all I have done is the ceiling in the bathroom:eek:. Today is a stay home and paint day so I'll see how much I get done.
Happy APRIL FOOLS DAY and HUMP DAY to all.

Your getting there Ken, the ceilings are the worse.

    Been watching home heating oil:
    On 6/21/14---$3.30gal.
    2/1/15 ---$2.18
    3/4/15 ---$2.89
    4/1/15---$2.29
Looks like it's time to filler up, last time I got it on 6/25/14 it was $3.30gal, now $2.29-----$200.00 less for 200 gal :) :woot: : FOR NOW!!!!!

 Hi sixtys and wannabes. Carl's right Ken, ceilings are the worst. Keep your chin up - and your eyes protected! ;)

Perfect timing Carl, reminding me on Fool's Day what a fool I was to lock in my heating oil pricing back in July 2014. It usually pays to do it, but this heating season we lost out. Maybe I'll put a wood boiler in and the heck with trying to guess oil prices...

Hi guy's thanks for the encouragement. Started at 10 and just finished painting...now the clean up:eek:.

I burn natural gas and locked mine in for 6 months so I also am feeling a slight pinch. You know Carl, if you filler up now, next week it will drop to $1.89 a gallon:eek:.

A wood boiler sounds like a good idea. My BIL built his house in Colorado and installed a gas, wood and coal boiler. Never had a problem with expensive fossil fuel or gas... plenty of wood where he lived. Sounds like a good plan for a new boiler.

Afternoon all... same here with propane, locked in a rate up to so many gallons, last year I came up short on the gallons and had to pay the difference, this year I filled the requirement early with this cold winter and then they came out and gave me another tank-full that I now get to pay market price for. Unless you hit the gallons perfect they get you either way. Just thankful I can pay the bill, many cannot and try to use space heaters or stoves. Lots of house fires and deaths up here from that.

Was thinking the same thing Ken, but the last time it hit $2.19 it shot back up to $2.90 in about a month. This time it will probably go the other way. :notsure:

I had mentioned before that I have a 90,000btu coal stove in the basement. I was getting around 200 gal. of oil every month during the winter months, now down to around 200 gal about every 8 months. BIG SAVINGS! Of course it didn't help that no one seemed to be able to set the furnace up properly.
I am saving my wood for when oil gets really expensive! ;)

Got the oil today @ $2.249 gal., saved another 5c a gal. :)

Just looked on e-bay for AC43N spark plugs (sound familiar).
They are no longer made and I still have 8 boxes of them, I sure as heck wouldn't pay what they want for them.
SO; went online to advance auto and ordered 5 boxes of AP404 plugs with a code for a 35% discount and got free shipping. It ended up at a little over $2.00 a plug---Total of $82.40.
    In the local store they are $2.99 ea. X 40=$119.60 +6% tax------>$126.78. I got them for $44.38 less. :):)
Now I can save my "collectables"!:woot:

Could have been worse, $3.29 ea. at NAPA.
Heck of a lot cheaper than the $75-$150 for a box of 8 43N's on e-bay.
Beginning to wonder if I shouldn't really stock up on spark plugs for a BBC while they are still reasonable and available.
Maybe should stock up on HD points also!

 Morning sixtys. I don't understand the spark plug references. Are any of them for a Taco?

Good morning all. The Kitchen is finally finished and I will be taking a few pics today with a decent camera. I will post them up tonight, time permitting.

    Morning all.

    Timing is everything.
    Spring is here.
    I can see my boat.
    Yeup.
Now I have to fix my own vehicles...
Drove the jeep yesterday and had a 1/2 inch shake in the wheel on turns.
    Oh nooooo
Yeup. Lf axle joint is seizing.
Plus I knew I had to change brakes this year.
So next weekend instead of working on the boat I'll be tearing the front end out of the jeep.
    Ahhh well......

    On another note.
I hope Paul is doing well.
